Good fish, etc but the hush puppies were just cornbread balls with nothing added and were burnt.They could use some help. On a good note Brenda’s has an awesome breakfast . Will go back but I’m learning the menu and will eat according to my likes.

Found this place as I was heading south and it was a good choice. Buffet or a large selection of burgers and sandwiches for lunch. I picked the buffet for the Catfish Friday but the other days the entree will vary. Two Entrees on the buffet every day. The current menu doesn’t say but you get a desert with the buffet. Wide selection if you get here early in the lunch hour. Plenty of ice tea and a super friendly staff with Rachel working the dining area.

My husband, myself and infant stopped by on the way home from Missouri and when I walked in I had the most eerie feeling I’ve ever experienced in my 26 years of existing. My daughter and I are of mixed race and my husband is Caucasian; when we walked into the building the host was sweet but when I tell you EVERY single person OF EVERY AGE (even children) stopped and just stared at us. We were thinking they were just looking because it was kinda packed so we walked to the emptier side of the building and the same thing happened. I literally could feel the hate and I knew I was NOT suppose to be there. We left of course because of how I felt. And I cried in the car after because I’ve just never experienced anything like it. I’m just posting this review to warn others passing through, if you’re not strictly Caucasian you ARE NOT WELCOMED here!

If you like coffee then I wouldn't suggest this place. If you like muddy water then it's the place for you! The server isn't friendly unless you're a regular. The server also went and took orders from all the tables before taking them to the kitchen, May be why the foods cold. The food, as many others have said, was served cold. Even the eggs were cold, idk how you even do that! They clearly don't have a steam table to hold their precooked breakfast meats or gravy or if they do, they don't have it turned on. The gravy tasted like flour and all around, the food was bland. If you order the breakfast plate, it only has 1 piece of meat, sausage or bacon, 2 eggs and 1 biscuit with floury, cold gravy. Not impressed and definitely won't be back.
