Wonderful small town atmosphere in a family ran business. The Farmhouse Burger was outstanding! Definitely worth the 5 minutes out of your way if you're passing through the area.

Food was great, but fried green tomatoes were undercooked, unfortunately. The bill did not match our food order so we were overcharged. Waitresses and staff are friendly. Environment is crowded and very loud. Long wait times to be seated and food to arrive. Bank on a coupke of hours on a weekend of wait time to finish.

The food is excellent, if you can get in. The atmosphere is elbow to elbow busy. This is why I gave it two stars. Look at spending more here.

Average at the very best, and I'm being generous. One and done for me. $42 for a $20 steak. Could have gotten much better food and atmosphere elsewhere.

Me and my wife go here for date night. The stakes are always good and cooked as ordered. Staff is usually nice and on top off things. This place get really busy.

Friendly staff, great food. Come early to avoid the wait. They are busy from opening until closing time!

Fantastic food but plan on a long wait to get a table. Also a good chance that they might run out of certain menu items. It's all worth it though because it's probably one of the best places for a stake in west Tennessee.

Great food with short wait. Lot's staff hustling about but they just didn't seem very well coordinated. We arrive about 715 pm and the place was packed, but we only had a very short wait to be seated. She quickly took our order, brought our drinks and then disappeared. Even though the crowd left by 830, our service just got slower and slower. Only then did we notice, the staff was all seated and enjoying their dinner. We finally got our meal about 840, but by then service was non-existent.

Left frustrated.

Where do I start? As we waited til 4:30pm, we should have known something because people in the lines stared at us like they never seen black people before(which is rude to stare). But we wasn’t phased by it. We sat down ordered our food(fried fish and fried green tomatoes). Both were overcooked by the way. What don’t sit right with me is that the same people that was behind us got their food(steaks) before us. And cooking fish don’t take long at all. It takes steak longer. So we waited and waited, as we waited the customers that were behind us were getting up and already finished with their food. Finally got our food, we noticed we didn’t get our Cole slaw that comes with our fried fish. Waiter stated ā€œsome people don’t want it so we don’t put it on the plateā€ā€¦WELL I WANT WHAT IM PAYING FOR, and I’m not some people. What also don’t sit right with me was the ā€œhead-hunchoā€(older lady) asked is EVERYONE doing okay at their tables but the two of the blacks(us and a couple behind us), she didn’t say NOTHING to us(which is rude, so do better). By the way, we were still getting stared down(still didn’t bother us). But the last straw was a random waiter came to our table mistakenly asking ā€œdid yall have the 6 piece fishā€ā€¦.we said no the other black couple behind us I guess did. In our minds the only thing we can think about is one of the cooks said ā€œthis plate belongs to the black people at the tableā€. Overall, I did like the salad bar. But Henderson, TN will always feel like a sundown town to me, some people are very racist in Henderson and it shows. Honestly could have saved our $50 for the food but we heard good things about this restaurant so we wanted to try it out. But if you’re African American visiting and wanting to try their food…all I have to say be prepared!
I would have loved for a team member to come to our table and ask us ā€œare we doing okay, anything else we needā€ but sadly no one did they just stared.

Finally a place that serves a REAL hot fudge cake with the hard ice cream. Bravo! Will be back very soon.
