I got a three-piece chicken meal with mashed potatoes. The chicken was so dry, and and the crust was so crusty and dried up. I could not even eat it. The potatoes were so dried out they had chunks of like hard skim on them,pitiful.Wouldn’t serve that food to a dogplease refund my money. I used to LOVE Popeyes as a chicken restaurant. I decided to try the spicy fish sandwich and shrimp tacklebox. We went to the location in Hermitage, TN after Ash Wednesday Mass. Went into the restaurant to order. Was asked by an employee if we were picking up food. We said no, we were going to order and eat. She said the lobby is closed and only for order pickup. Only drive thru available. This was 8pm on a Wednesday. No signage that tells a customer that there is no inside dining. My question to the GM, why do you not have inside dining? This is 2024, not March 2020. Do you even know your employees are closing the lobby? Also, one of the most rude and annoying things in a drive thru other than a broken speaker is an employee who asks after every item you order "is that all? is that all? is that all?"....I personally will not go back to Popeyes but for those customers that may still visit, can you train your staff on the proper way to take an order? If in doubt, go to Chik Fil A drive thru and have them model that.

Overall customer experience was fine, but just not a fan of their spicy chicken sandwich. All the breading falls off the chicken filet as you're trying to eat it. Not really spicy either. I'd go somewhere else for a spicy chicken sandwich.

We went to Popeyes at 4815 Lebanon Pike in Hermitage, Tennessee on Christmas Eve and it was the absolute worst restaurant experience ever. Their lobby is never open, so we have to go through the drive-thru for every visit. There we a lot of cars in line when we pulled up, but it wasn't quite 5:30 pm and they were open until 7:00 pm. It was our choice to stay in line and wait, but we knew they were probably short-staffed due to the holiday, and we are not the kind of people to get upset over things like that. We just wanted our dinner and chose to go to Popeyes. By the time all was said and done, we ended up waiting over an hour and a half in line. We finally got to the speaker to place our order at 6:10 and thought all was fine. After another 40 minutes or so, we got to the window and was met by the manager. She said that they were all out of food and had noting to give us. Nothing. We had watched them hand bag after bag to the cars in front of us, and there were at least five bags sitting on a table with receipts on them. It looked like the staff had cooked whatever food they wanted to take home and had it ready for when they left. These people knew long before we got to the window they wouldn't have our food, but they didn't send anyone out to tell us. They waited until every other restaurant was closed in the area and we were left with nothing. The manager never apologized or offered anything to compensate us for our time. She also didn't have any teeth, so this wasn't surprising. We observed another employee blow her nose and not wash her hands before touching bags of food to hand out the window. This place is disgusting and we will not be back.

I had a pick up order at the restaurant but the employee sent me to the drive thru, she yelled at me and everyone else who entered the restaurant. drive tru was chaos, I waited half an hour and it didn't move so I canceled my order. bad service and terrible

Placed a mobile order, arrived at the drive-thru, and told them I was there to pick up. Waited in line for about 15 minutes, and when I got to the window, they said they had already given my order to someone else for a doordash delivery. I showed the manager my receipt and confirmation of my mobile order, and all she kept saying was that I needed to cancel my order and get a refund. They refused to make my order or give me a refund saying there was nothing they could do cause someone had already picked it up. What a load of garbage!
