Advised the employee of my food allergy, which was ignored and caused me a severe allergic reaction. Called the cafe to speak with the GM twice, and both times was told I would receive a call back and never did. This cafe does not understand food allergies and is not willing to address customer food safety complaints. I would not order here again.

This is the most horrible experience I have ever had at a restaurant. As soon as I walked in I was told “ we are not taking orders” my response was “ why?” And the response given to me was surprising “ because we have a lot to do”. The most unprofessional food service was given. Specifically by a young lady with red dyed hair. My food was handed to me and when I looked it was not wrapped and it’s falling apart. The customer service is a no for me.

I used to even have the app because I love going to this place so much recently I decided to give it another try and I ordered $35 worth of smoothies on the app, I did it before the store opened, it had told me that my order would be ready at 7:12. I pulled into the parking lot at 7:20. Remind you they open at seven when I pulled in the open sign was on but when I walked up to the door it was locked and pitch black on the store, I had to call after two days. I finally got a hold of somebody to give me a refund. If you employees don't care not to show up before the store even open this place is gonna be out of business and shut down in no time from the reviews about how the customer services and obviously not following business hours it's not gonna take long, especially being next to a place like Dutch Bros, which doesn't amazing job do better tropical smoothie

Tried to order to go. Stood in line for 15 minutes with people ahead of me who kept leaving because they were completely swamped with working on To-go orders. I can wait for service when a place is slammed, But it was the rudeness of staff and glares and eye rolls they kept giving us while waiting. A simple, thank you for your patience would have been appreciated and an acknowledgment that they are glad you are there, but none of that happened. At some point they need to stop accepting online orders when the people who are actually in the store need to place an order, but that was not happening.

I stopped by after getting a coupon in the mail. The inside looked clean for the most part. Loud music was playing. Customer service was okay. I won't go back as I wasn't impressed with the food. I experienced a chemical after taste and thought the hummus wrap was lacking in ingredients aside from the lettuce, onions and rice.Vegetarian options: Hummus wrap, salads, smoothiesParking: Many spots in the plaza to park

This place has changed tremendously since opening. I remember coming here 2-3 times a week when I lived in Hermitage. I used to order the same thing every time: Caribbean Jerk Wrap with a Smoothie. After a couple years of absence due to moving to another part of town, I was cleaning my truck next door and came in for lunch. I saw a video on social media not too long ago about how restaurants, fast food chains, and cafes have hired young folks who show no character or care for guests - opposed to "back in the day" when we semi-appreciated for spending our money there. It's almost like Dutch Bro's had stolen every ounce of Tropical Cafe's happiness and character right out of them. The young lady at the counter was a young blonde girl. I'm gonna respect her appearance, because by no means am I trying to publicly embarrass anyone. I ordered my *old* usual, and she said she couldn't find it. Therefore, she'd choose another wrap on screen, which was a bit more expensive than my usual. ** THEY ARE LITERALLY SHOUTING WITH JOY AT DUTCH BROS AS IM TYPING THIS... It looks like they're celebrating something with a guest*** I let it slide and ordered a smoothie with a scoop of whey protein. I asked her if she knew how many grams of protein was in each scoop. Didn't have a clue. I was charged almost $18 for a wrap and smoothie. That all being said, thank you for all the previous memories Tropical Cafe, but I will never be seeing ya again!
