This is a nice place to take a break and get something to eat. The restaurant is comfortable, the people are friendly and the food is very good. *I am editing my review: not taking any stars away because I still feel the same about the place on I'm saddened because North 40 has closed it's doors. Instead of a little mom and pop truck stop we are not getting a Pilot/Flying J. Not saying anything bad about these 2 businesses, but I do miss the employees from North 40 and I hope to see them back when this new place is opened.Store inside and out is always clean. Staff are super nice people. Showers are only $5 a piece and are crazy clean.

I stop for fuel frequent BUT on Christmas Day with frozen pipes & no water...I had a nice hot shower for $5!!! This is a good place to go in general. I know it is a very popular place for truckers. And the restaurant had been closed but I believe it has reopened

Stopped by last week, and when I went into the store, it was almost completely empty. The lady at the cashier’s desk informed me that the owners were ready to retire, and they would be closing down the business. Absolutely heartbreaking to see this place go I’ve been coming here for 10 years as an over the road driver and local driver. I’ve made so many memories at this awesome truckstop. Really hate to see it go. :/

Very nice store/gas station. They had lots of beautiful gift items and very clean bathrooms. Their potato chip selection wasn't very good. They were out of almost all of them, but overall, we were very happy with this business.

Great big sign says RESTAURANT, but it's permanently closedAll you can get are some heatlamp burgers and stuff. Stray dogs roam the parking lot, ( poor babies) ,and the place is poorly stocked. Bathrooms are OK at best. There is a one room massage place. Plenty of parking, though.

Truckstop is near Loves Truckstop and a Subway, buy the restaurant is closed and have been for 10 months, they do have a deli here with hot foods and breakfast sandwiches

The North 40 is the logical place to stop on the way from Nashville to Memphis (or vice versa). The restaurant was not open while we were there, so I can't comment on it. The store has a wide supply of snacks and gifts as well as the usual automotive and trucking supplies. There is a trucker's lounge. The restrooms are clean. There's not a lot to set this apart from other truck stops, but it has the perfect location.

Long time since visiting here. Sorry to see they closed the restaurant, but they do have a pretty nice deli ? The double cheeseburger was great and reasonably priced. Also disappointing that they don't have any Lottery available ?. Also no alcoholic beverages available.Will return again, but only for the deli!!!!!
Travelling from Nashville to Memphis, we called into North 40 in Holladay for snacks and a drink. It was OK butbut nothing special. It was virtually all self-serve and there was only a small area with tables and chairs. where you could sit and eat.

Yes the restaurant has closed I was told trouble getting supplies but not sure. They do still have a hot deli with sandwiches and during the week a plate lunch with two vegetables. Only downside I have found is the sinks in the restroom do not stay on long enough to wash your hands with the setting they have on them.

Lot filthy and disgusting. Plenty of parking though. Restaurant permanently closed in May 2022 so you have to grab and go at the deli. Breakfast food very bland. Won't be visiting here again. Used to be a nice place.

This is usually a good pit stop off of I-40. It's a known landmark, bathrooms are generally clean. The selection of snacks and drinks are decent and they have hot food at times. They even have a store/novelty area that makes this stop different from the average gas station.It's been a while since I've eaten at the restaurant side, but overall, it's a good stop for travelers and truckers alike.
