Very good for what it is. Definitely attracts alot of the older generations and understandably so. It's good ol' southern cooking for sure, but it's low in the flavors and seasonings department in my opinion; however, I do understand why given it's typical patronage. I was a traveler, a tourist just passing through and wanted to give it a try due to its rave reviews. It's definitely a good meal, good portions, and servings for the price.
The restrooms are Absolutely Terrible.

The food quality has gone down. 60 years in service. Wish the food was better, it is often dried out. Empty platters not being used, leftovers from day before

Great Southern food.
Food was phenomenal
Stopped here for lunch buffet and the railroad museum. We had a good time. It's was worth the detour on our trip to Nashville.
After visiting the museum across the parking lot I was hesitant on being able to digest this buffet- but I was wrong! Forget the museum come for the food! Not the largest selection they stick to what they know great southern meats and sides! If you are against eating meat stay away nothing for you here! Regretted eating the hotel breakfast before my stop here. Everything was delicious. Great meal for a great price.
I love their buffet. As local as you can get. The fried chicken is the best!
I will go back for sure.
