Big, basic, catfish restaurant (hence the name) Reasonably priced, authentic, nostalgic, and well run place with a well trained staff that can handle it large party easily. (We had 25) The service was great. The menu had some variety for those who didn't want catfish, but I've learned if a place has a particular food in their name and a picture of it on their sign, that's what you should order. They have a decent steak and hamburger but my shrimp was mushy. The catfish was the standout. Get the catfish.

We had an amazing meal tonight on our day trip! The food was amazing and cooked perfectly! Our waitress Jennifer went above and beyond to make our meal exactly what we wanted. All staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back here for another meal!

Baked potato arrived to cool to melt butter. Asked for warm hush puppies and was told 5 minutes later they just dropped a batch. We left because the potato and fish would be ice by then. Paid for meal and no one asked how it was. I just will not go back for awhile!

Three items that should always be eaten hot or at least warm. 1 baked potato, 2 fried catfish, 3 hush puppies. Hush puppies were warm when they arrived but 20 minutes later when food arrived they were cold. Baked potato arrived cool and would not melt the butter. We asked for warm hush puppies, 5 minutes later we were told they just dropped a batch. I gave up and left. Fish and baked potato would be ice by then!

I just spent $41.00 for CATFISH FINGERS ! I had the 3 piece catfish platter and my husband had the 4 piece catfish platter and I will have to say we were VERY DISAPPOINTED in what we got. We even asked the waitress why the fish was so small , she said that they cut the fillets back by 25 % so now they are fingers instead of FILLETS!!! The tea and lemonade was good ! So, before you come here ask yourself do you want fish fingers or do I want fillets? Because fish fingers is what you are going to get! So, do yourself a favor go to Kroger and buy you some fillets and cook them yourself!

The server was great...that gives this review a 3 star....BUT... If was only about the server it would be a 5 star. However, the food was fair. The shrimp was very good. The vinegar coleslaw was quite good. The hushpuppies were the best I've ever had (but I don't actually like huspuppies!) The catfish filets were "barely there". By the time you got through it all the breading, you're going, where's the fish!! Now the baked potato...ugh! Barely warm. Dry as a bone. Not really edible! If it was just about the food, I probably would say a 2 star 🌟. Oh but the price overall was actually reasonable 🤔
