The server was great...that gives this review a 3 star....BUT... If was only about the server it would be a 5 star. However, the food was fair. The shrimp was very good. The vinegar coleslaw was quite good. The hushpuppies were the best I've ever had (but I don't actually like huspuppies!) The catfish filets were "barely there". By the time you got through it all the breading, you're going, where's the fish!! Now the baked potato...ugh! Barely warm....
We had passed this place on our way to Nebraska and made it a point to come back through here and stop and eat on our way home. We were so glad we did! After looking forward to this all week, we were not disappointed. Service was over the top. Thanks Josh! They better keep him. He’s a gem!
Food was great and our server Josh was just as great. If I owned a restaurant I would hire him in a heartbeat beat! He was one of the best! I’m from Alabama but if I ever pass through this area again I will definitely stop by and eat here.
