As aforementioned, Union University is a school that thrives on social isolation. There's nothing near the area that's worth raving about, the locals are fairly stuck up, and you tend to feel incredibly isolated even while roaming around town. The students here love to preach about God but when the time actually comes to do good, they look away at every turn. Everyone here is fake and, if you aren't like everybody else, you will feel INCREDIBLY isolated. In fact, it's almost scary how cult-like it tends to be here; so, if you think you're not unique and have no defining qualities, then Union is perfect for you.

Union is unfortunately stuck up. Not everyone, but campus sucks for the price, the town is awful, there's nothing to do. It's a depressing desolate place. People act like they love God and Christianity but have never questioned their own religion. They exclude people who make mistakes or say one thing wrong. The University, the teachers, the students they are all stuck in their bible thumping, checklist Christian vibes. Go to church, read your Bible, never question why you believe what you believe. That's Union for you, stuck up kids mixed in with some amazing people and great teachers and mentors. Hate you Union worst 1 and a half years of my life. I'm a Christian but union makes people feel alienated. Overpriced social outcast school.

Best place in the entire world. Deciding to attend Union was one of the best decisions I ever made. I spent 5 years there and grew so much as a musician (I was a music major), a person, and as a Christian. I was challenged and pushed in ways I had never been pushed before. The community that exists here is unlike any other. I highly encourage anyone looking for solid, Christ-centered higher education to give Union a look. You won't regret it at all.

Best university in the south! This school is more than just a center for higher education. It provides you with the necessary tools for life and a Christian worldview. The administration and professors don't tell you what to think, but give you guidance on how to apply biblical teaching to every day events. This school showed incredible character while I was there. The 2008 tornado was a devastating event for everyone involved, but Union University staff and students were shown God's grace that day. The leadership showed much poise as well, in such an impossible situation. Thank you Union for the memories, the life lessons, and the support.
