Dixie Castle in Jackson has been our favorite for years. Best steaks ever! They cut their steaks by hand everyday. Our family loves to go for steaks on Friday or Saturday nights. I recommend the filet! Ribeyes are so good also. The filet melts in your mouth. I always have a side salad too which is actually a full size salad. (You won’t find warm homemade banana pudding like theirs).
Was in a rush and came in for a burger, they had it within 5-10mins and it was delicious. Would be adding it to my weekly place to eat.

The food was good. We came during the lunch rush and the wait was too long. It's not a very big restaurant, so the space is tight. Overall a pleasant dining experience, will eat here again.Parking: This place stays busy and the parking spots fill up fast. You may have to park on another street and walk.

Just an exceptional small town diner, right in the middle of downtown Jackson, TN. Great people and food, even with the eat at counter with stools. Should you find yourself downtown needing lunch, stop in!
