Food was super good and it came quickly. What I love about this place is that they also have a small sink in the corner to wash your hands after your hands are dirty from eating the tacos!

I had the #17 - chicken, shrimp, steak, onion, peppers over rice. Very good and the portion was enough for 2 meals.

HORRIBLE experience at the Taqueria El Primo express #3 at 1302 N. Highland today. This was my 1st time visiting this food truck/business. The girl taking my order did not seem to understand English well. I asked how much the taco birria's were. She said $1 I said $1? She said yes. I said ok no cilantro she kept saying no onion? I said onion yes, cilantro no. I asked for 6 since she said they were $1. I then asked how much is it? She said what sounded like $6 and some change. I handed her my credit card & she gave me a receipt for $26.34!!! I said you charged me $26.34 for 6 tacos????!! She mumbled something about Tuesday's. I said well I don't want them now & she said it was too late it was already charged!!! She literally had just swiped my card, & wouldn't cancel the transaction!!! Nothing had been made, she literally still had my card in her hand!!! This is ridiculous!!!! Then when my buzzer went off that my order was ready, she had an attitude, no thank you, sorry about the mishap...NOTHING! I will not be returning, that's for sure!!! Worse customer service experience I've had at an establishment in a very long time!!

Came in late last night, service was great, food was cooked to order, prices were very affordable and while I did have a bit of a wait after eating the food which tasted amazing I would have waited an hour with no complains. I came back for lunch today and again it was perfect!!!! You are a staple and your level of quality is one to be proud of. Thank you guys for being alive. I'm in town for a week for work and I doubt I will eat anywhere else all week long. Chorizo.....perfect and the best flavor I've EVER had!!!!!
XOXOXO
Good Job and thank you again!!!!!

I would not recommend eating here. Average service and atmosphere, and there’s nothing wrong with that. The food however… I ordered a carne asada plate & 2 tacos( pastor y carnitas).

The rice and beans had no flavor to be desired, the dark sauce also tasted nasty. Not spicy or flavorful at all. The meat on the tacos was below average.

The green sauce is good though and the steak for my carne asada plate was a 3/4 so not bad.

All in all just go somewhere else or try something else on the menu.

No frills, but terrific food with great portions! We'll be back. More of a carryout place
Not much seating.

I was a regular once a week or every other until tonight. Getting what I usually get for my husband 2 taco combos. I waited patiently which was no problem. I happened to come in twice to check due to being told 10 minutes to wait. The man said for me to wait in my car and don’t come back. I was confused but oh well. He brought me the food and told me: “lady we no longer serve tacos. This last time” overall I just felt unwanted and my service wasn’t wanted when I did nothing wrong and have loved and supported them for a long time. The man who talked to me was degrading and rude. I wouldn’t recommend them anymore even if their food is good.

Los tacos de tripa were absolutely delightful! They had the perfect crunch. Add to that the salsa de chile de arbol and holy moly, you'll be in taco heaven. We also had the torta de asada and it was just as yummy. Fast and friendly service is the topper at this place. The parking situation is way too tight. But it's not enough of a gripe to detract from the amazing food.

The storefront was easy to miss, since it's immediately adjacent to a gas station, but the inside was bright and clean. The menu was surprisingly broad. I wasn't brave enough to try the birria spaghetti, but it looked interesting. My 3-taco plate with rice, beans, and a small salad was great. The man at the counter was pleasant and helpful, and he politely tolerated my attempt to order in Spanish. If I'm ever passing through again, I'd happily stop in.
