Some foreshadowing: I read the glowing Google reviews for this place before we went, and I got excited. When we arrived, I looked at the menu, and got even more excited. My high expectations would prove to be a mistake. The menu has your standard American-Japanese format fare, like hibachi, teriyaki chicken, California roll, etc. Ho-hum. (Just saying, I don’t blame any Asian restaurant in Jackson that puts these things on their menu, because - how do I put this delicately? -...
Very good hibachi and roll. I had the steak and Chicken and wife had American Dream roll. Both were excellent and we also enjoyed crab ragoons. We had it as take out and it tool about 20 mins.
Absolutely wonderful food. The combination in the Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box is above and beyond any other I've had recently. Tender white meat strips in a decadent teriyaki sauce, perfectly sticky white rice, crisp tempura and miso soup that perfected the meal. The cashier was polite and the server was rapid and accurate. Pricing is better than I had anticipated and I absolutely loved the calming atmosphere. Even the Edison Style Bulbs in the chandelier are a great addition....
