Delicious food, great service!
everything, fish , beans salad! imm everything!
I'm in Jackson for work, and this place is great. Very friendly and the best in town from an outsider perspective
I had the bbq plate. The pork, sauce and baked beans were fabulous and I’m a bbq snob. This is not a fancy place. They have catfish some evenings that is 5 star.
On a recent road trip, my wife and I relied on Google Maps and TripAdvisor to locate this place in Jackson. It was easy to find, but parking was tight and not plentiful during the lunch hour. This is a combination restaurant and thrift store, benefitting a women's shelter. Food orders are placed and paid for at the main counter. As usual when traveling, we shared an entree, in this case a pulled pork plate with 2 sides. We also each ordered unsweet iced tea at 2.29 each (one of the lowest drink prices on our trip). The dining area is small, but sunny and bright, and there was a steady to-go business as well. Our food arrived quickly and there was just enough to share. Definitely worth the trip across town.
Been there 3 times and love it everytime
Our servers were personable and friendly, and the food was DELICIOUS! Try the smoked bacon Mac n cheese and the fried Oreos. You are welcome!
The Hope Cafe, ah . . . where to begin? The first 5 times I tried to eat there I was turned away. "We're closing early today" , "we're closed all week for cleaning ", etc. I was done, plenty of other places to eat. But my sister loves the place and begged me to give it another chance. I did & finally got in! The first couple of times I ate there the food was overcooked, still good, just kinda burned. The last time everything was fine, maybe the cooks getting better. The waitresses are always friendly & everyone is nice, that's their saving grace.
This is a great place for lunch. It’s simple, but with good food, including some local Tennessee favorites. I had a BBQ pork hot dog, which was actually a sausage in a hot dog bun, covered in BBQ pork and coleslaw.
Restaurantji Recommends
It's very nice , not much thrift store left , but the Cafe and BBQ part is awesome , great food and fair prices !! Well worth the money spent there !!
I ordered a pulled pork sandwich…I wanted the Smokey taste from the grill like a bbq sandwich what I got was a pot roast sandwich with slaw and bbq sauce…?nice environment friendly people but I’ll stick with back yard bbq for my sandwiches
it was delish!!i recommend the bacon, egg, and cheese taco.it also opens for earlier hours than what it says.
Great food and great staff!
I was there for breakfast and food was great as was the service. The girls even came out to my table and prayed for me as I was on my way to start my chemotherapy.
