Had a great time here with my family! The appetizers were fantastic, ramen was good, rice was good! Not everything was to my tastes, but that's a me problem, I've only been to an authentic Japanese restaurant this once so I didn't know what would be to my tastes (still got a lot to learn), but just about everything I tried was really good, will be going back soon!

Just passing through and I can't believe I convinced my old man to come here with me. The employees were very nice! The Ramen, Delicious!!! If I ever pass through Jackson again I hope I remember this place!

Probably will not be returning. We had a large group and none of us liked our food. I had the goyu and the steak was overcooked extremely. Not only that but the entire bowl of ramen tasted like a foot… I mean I really don’t know how else to put it. It was bland and had a very distinct stale flavor to it at the same time. It was just nasty… I tried adding salt and pepper for flavor (which we had to ask for bc it was not on the table, any of the tables), and it did not help at all. I could not eat it. I ordered a sushi roll (Kami roll) and it was okay but that shrimp in the middle had the same foot flavor as the ramen. I just won’t be back. Which is a real disappointment bc I had been excited to try this place. Also, no one ever came to check on the table. I had to wait forever for someone to come even remotely close to the table so I could ask for a menu to order my sushi roll. No one ever got refills, and we had to ask for straws… not like they forgot to give us straws, they just don’t give straws and the hostess/waitress was confused on why we asked. Like handed us 4 for the party of 8 and was like “is that enough” like no… we all want straws… it just wasn’t a good experience. It was such a let down that I’m now afraid to try the pho place across town that I’ve also been excited about.

I will not go back. We had a party of 8 and none of us liked our food. One person wouldn't even eat it. The meats were dry. The special shrimp was decent but had no salt. The gyudon don had little flavor. I had to add a lot of soy sauce. The steak strips in it were very hard to chew.

Not to my tastes, but the rest of my group liked it all.

The food is amazing, the hostess was quite nice. I prefer wnen one of the females serves my meal. They are delightful conversationalist.

The service was amazing. They were very nice! The Spicy Tan Tan Lobster and Spicy Shrimp ramen were phenomenal! Definitely will be coming back!!

The service was perfect, the food was INCREDIBLE, and the prices were amazing. Not only do I plan to return, but I can’t wait! I had the spicy shrimp ramen, and in terms of complexity, depth, and harmony of flavors, it was a triumph. I also had cold apple sake, which I highly recommend if you are like me and enjoy liquor that does not taste like alcohol. For appetizers, we had the octopus balls, and shrimp tempura. Everything we ate was excellent. Five stars EASY. This place has better ramen than Nashville and Memphis by a mile, and at great prices. If you are tired of the usual “format” restaurants Jackson has to offer, come try this place!

I recently tried Kami Ramen Bar in Jackson and was impressed by the quality of their ingredients and the attention to detail in their dishes. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I can't wait to go back!

Phenomenal Ramen place. I felt like I was having lunch in the Neon District again (if you know, you know). Food was served quickly. The ambiance really fits. The tables were clean, as were the bathrooms. Will definitely be back again.
