We were pleasantly surprised to find another Los Portales here. We were traveling from Alexandria La. and have 2 Los Portales Restaurants. Good food far prices.

I ordered, however, huevos rancheros I expected my eggs to be scrambled as they always are cause i've ordered it before, i was disappointed when it was not, the waitress was really sweet, attentive, and helpful.

The waitress was very impatient and rude to my family we have been going here for a long time, and won't be no more.

Staff was rude when we came in at 8:10 for dinner out of town, hours are scratched off on the door. Could have simply let us know!
No steak no sweet tea poor service.

I went a couple weeks back for the first time and got the chorizo w/ cheese and it tasted bad and was uncooked and the chiles toreados were moldy. I'm never going back.

I used to would have have this place 5 stars across the board but unfortunately the bigger they have gotten the quality and amount of food you get has gone down but the prices have shot out of the roof. Disappointed in the direction they are headed. I remember when there was only 2 of these store open and the food was above and beyond perfection. MAKE LOS PORTALES GREAT AGAIN!!!
Crappy guacamole. Old brown avocado that tasted old as it looked. Returned the first bowl and second was just as bad, but mostly chopped onions. Salsa was plain tomatoes out of a can. Shrimp fajitas over cooked. No pico with fajitas. Service slow, and waitress acted unhappy we were there. We won't be back.
Love this place! The tamales are to die for and the margaritas are fire too. Great service and all around exceptional dining experience
