Fantastic Burrito Verde crammed with seasoned beef and topped with fresh Pico De Gallo and Green Sauce. The chips were a little thinner than I like but we're still top notch with the queso dip. All this served swiftly and effectively by a great team of people in a clean and fun environment. Also, a notably tasty Long Island Iced Tea that made me hang around after the meal a little longer than usual. Impressively good bartending. Magnificent actually.

Awful service. The waitress got everyone in the restaurant's orders wrong, was rude and had a bad attitude. Really explains why only 10 people were in the whole restaurant on a Saturday night. No idea how the food was because it never came out right and we left.

What a hidden gem! Stopped here between Memphis and Nashville and could not have been more overjoyed at the service and food we received during our visit. We felt the warm atmosphere of a family-owned business as soon as we entered. The staff was incredibly friendly and who we believe must be the owner and maybe the chef delivered our food and repeatedly checked in to make sure we were happy and enjoying the meal. The portions were HUGE and they were incredibly generous with protein as well. Prices were also fantastic. Just a great value for what you get. I don’t live in the area, but if I did, I would go here on a weekly basis: it was that delightful!I ordered the chicken fajitas, which came out with a perfect amount of char - fresh, delicious and definitely not too oily with a mountain of grilled chicken, and my companion ordered a combo platter, which also came with a ton of food. He was equally impressed.

Always have liked this location, however in the last couple visits the quality of the food seems to have slipped as has the general service. The food served took longer than "their usual" and taste was off noticeably. We sometimes have issue with arragonance with one long time server. That continues. We'll go back, probably only for a quick stop lunch but won't be as often. So many choices.#nottheonlygameintown.Parking: Its a little tight for a full size vehicle /pickup.

My food was ice cold when the waitress brought it out to me. When I informed the waitress that my food was cold he had a attitude. He took the food and warmed it up in the microwave. This is the worst experience I have experienced at Los Portales.

The service was bad. One order was delivered incorrectly. By the time the correct order was received our table was done. As we left we saw our waitress behind the counter hugging and kissing another staff member instead of doing her job. Will not go back!

I should have started with the positives: the food, the portions and the attention to us was very good and I recommend the restaurant. A detail that is important to me and that I believe the manager should pay attention to: Mexican culture is one of the most beautiful in the world, and so is the music! There is a lot and plenty of repertoire of Mexican singers as well as traditional Mexican songs that represent us in the world with great pride, having music in the restaurant that says rude things and advocates drug trafficking is in bad taste and does not represent us, I feel a little It's a shame that that's what you hear in the restaurant, those people have no talent; It only proposes and praises a reality that should not make us feel proud, much less boast. I hope the manager thinks a little about my comment and gives this beautiful restaurant the opportunity to listen to beautiful and pleasant music, which gives us the warm feeling of a good Mexican restaurant and not of being in a cantina.

I am in complete disbelief at how nasty my food was at this location I have never got bad food from Los portales but this location is the reason why I will never go to Los portales ever again picked up my food last night within 7 minutes of ordering my food and wondered why my food was ready so quick when I literally had just ordered it so when I got home my food was cold my steak was fake I had the ribeye caramaon I chewed on my steak for over 20 minutes I couldn't even chew it till swallow it tasted like shoulder steak to be honest it was so nasty and chewy I had to not eat it no more I still got the steak right here on my kitchen table it's very nasty I also ordered a fiesta fajita and that was even more horrible it's like that they had the food stored when folks order it my order was 46 bucks how do you get old food at that dang on price ??♀️ it really pissed me off and I will never come to any of these locations ever again this is unacceptable especially with how much food cost has went up ain't no way in hell I should have got old today ? this is the location of Dr Effie wright close to the interstate I think the location is considered Park place plaza the only location in Jackson Tennessee that's got the best Los portales is the one on Old hickory don't waste your time going here both times i have been was a waste of money i tried to give them another chance and my food was more nasty now than the last time ??♀️
