Today, March 29, 2025 at about 2:08 p.m we had a GREAT EXPERIENCE at Marble Slab Creamery located at 1032a Vann Drive in Jackson, TN 38305. Samantha T. was very NICE and PROFESSIONAL! She knew her job and she is good at it, she was patient with us. I did not know exactly what I wanted, she was attentive and courteous. THANKS Samantha T.! The world can take notes from you; it would be a better place if everyone had your kind demeanor. I would definitely recommend this place. The ice cream and the Great America cookies are PHENOMENAL!! Keep doing what you are doing! SATISFIED HAPPY CUSTOMER!!

Walked in at 9:33 PM on a Friday and was a little confused because the sign outside says that it is a Great American Cookie and Maggie Moo Ice Cream yet Google says it is a Marble Slab. We were greeted, however, I casually asked whether they were a Marble Slab Creamery or not, and was promptly told that the slab was closed for the night because they were preparing to close so basically I was told that I couldn’t have the ice cream that I had come in for. When your posted hours say that you are open until 10 PM you should be serving customers until 10 PM. I made sure to sit outside until 10 PM and tell every customer who was walking up don’t bother because you won’t get served anyway. They had put all of the ice cream away and all of the cookies away. The floors were already mopped and cleaned. It was obvious they had started closing up long before we walked in the door. I know for a fact that ice cream shops struggle to stay open and when you’re turning customers away an hour before closing on a Friday night chances are this one won’t make it either. Based on the number of people walking up in the 30 minutes I sat outside you lost a lot of business tonight.

We have come here for dessert a few times. The treats are always very good, but the service tends to be lackluster at best. Tonight, it was blank stares and interaction so quiet we had to strain our ears and keep asking the girl to repeat herself. I understand that work is work, but the overall mood is less a lack of enthusiasm than a disdain that there are customers in the building.
