Best Italian spot around. This is a Jackson gem.

The food was okay but there are much better options in town. I had the blackened red snapper and it was over cooked and dry. My wife had the Tuscan pork chop and it was small for the price. Our server was great. Probably won't be coming back.

Old Town Spaghetto Store was, unfortunately, one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in nearly two decades—yes, even compared to chains like Olive Garden, which would have been a far better choice. The restaurant gives off a Bucca-style vibe, but everything feels worn down, from the flimsy silverware to the water-spotted glass ware.
The real issue, though, is the food. It didn’t even rise to the level of mediocre. The lasagna I was served was essentially mush—truly unpleasant—and the portion was surprisingly small. To their credit, they replaced it without hesitation, but the meat ravioli that followed tasted like the most basic frozen variety: bland, with an off-putting texture. The marinara on the lasagna had a flavor unmistakably similar to canned pasta sauce (Chef Boyardee).
I also tried the rigatoni with meat sauce. While the sauce was serviceable, the pasta itself was so undercooked it was difficult to chew. The side salad didn’t fare much better—just two croutons, a lone slice of cucumber, and a single piece of tomato, topped with a vinaigrette that seemed to contain everything except olive oil.
I don’t usually leave such critical reviews, but I genuinely couldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. You could boil pasta at home and toss it with jarred sauce and still end up with a better meal.
The one bright spot was my server, who was fantastic throughout the entire experience. I made sure to tip her well. But as for me, I won’t be returning.

I ordered the sirloin with mushrooms and onions, mashed potatoes and gravy. The sirloin tasted like a burnt hamburger patty, the mashed potatoes were great. My girl ordered spaghetti and the sauce is just tomatoes and water 😶. The bread with butter is great! Server was amazing, atmosphere was amazing, but food needs some real love and affection. 2 star for me.

Extremely disappointing experience at Old Town Spaghetti Store for my birthday. I’ve been here many times, but after this visit, I will never go back.
We arrived at 3:00 PM after an hour-long drive with a party of 11. We were quoted a 25-30 minute wait. For the next half hour, we watched smaller parties walk in and get seated immediately while multiple empty tables sat open—tables that could have easily been pushed together for us. After 30 minutes, we were told it would be another 20-minute wait.
I worked as a server for years, so I understand how restaurants operate, but this was poorly managed. Since they do not take reservations, I asked to speak to the manager to calmly suggest implementing a reservation system for larger groups. I was not loud or rude, but the manager continually cut me off and spoke down to me.
We left without eating. If you have a group larger than 4-6 people, take your business elsewhere.

Hadn’t been to Old Town Spaghetti Store in a while. So for my birthday on January 18th that’s where my family and I went. First off the service was terrible. The food was cold. My friend informed that it was my birthday and asked if cake or anything was given for birthdays. The server said yes but didn’t bring anything. So I was very disappointed. Probably my last time visiting.

I regular visit this restaurant..on my last visit on 1-18-26..I set in the bar at a booth with my guest and had the worst service experience in the bar. This particular waitress we had before and we're glad bc she previously had been a good waitress. Not once did she ask if we wanted a refill....I had to ask other wait staff ....not once asked if our food was good or correct.....upon getting our receipts she seemed very agitated when I asked a question about the point system on the ticket and walled her eyes. .I asked for management who clearly wrote me off and just walked off and I called back and spoke with the Mgr to inform her that due to her lack of concern I would never visit that location again!

They do not know how to make Alfredo sauce — I was served plain cream. I will not be recommending this place or returning. The server, however, was superb.

A wonderful Italian restaurant in Jackson. The Stuffed Mushrooms are a must have to start things off. The Chicken Florentine was delicious! The lasagna was good but the pasta was a little over cooked.
I sat at the bar and had quick, courteous, and fantastic service. I will be back again soon.
