My medium steak was rare. Waitress offered to have it cooked more which always worries me about cook's reactions. Fries were greasy and undercooked. I asked for a manager as we eat there almost weekly. I told him the grease wasn't hot when they cooked the fries (restaurant just opened). I'm 62 and an excellent cook. The fries were gray and soggy. He said the steak looked OK to him and did I want a new side? I took my steak home, warmed it up and it then was cooked medium. We won't go back. He didn't even say he was sorry or agree that both of us hadn't touched our fries. We go there all the time. Would an apology or discount been out of line? $30 lunch

Atmosphere is a 2 because the bartender took care of us but the kitchen failed us completely. All steaks were cooked under what was ordered. A rare came as blue, a medium rare came as rare, a medium well came as rare. All sides were cold but the bartender had fresh ones made.

Wife and I each ordered the prime rib, both cooked perfectly, mine extra rare, and delicious. My garlic mashed potato serving was huge and very good. The wife had a baked potato. House salad with house made bleu cheese dressing, wife's house made ranch, excellent. Hold the bacon and potato sticks on mine. And, Becca, our server was great! Oh yes, the honey drizzled croissants! Mmmm
