The food was less than stellar yet expensive and the menu is somewhat idiotic. I have had seafood all over the country and this is the first time I went to a restaurant that didn't just have boils. Having to buy a pound of whatever kind/ kinds of meat to simply get an actual boil makes no sense at all. I don't mind payload money f6good seafood, but this was good money for an okay seafood boil that I had to build myself. I guess I am just spoiled and used to Juicy Seafood in Smyrna. The food is amazing, the prices are good and they actually have noils on the menu and boils with fully peeled no head shrimp, so you can just open the bag and eat.

I love going to Redhook, their food is always so good. However I do want to mention that I’m taking my rating from a 5 to a 4 because the Redhook sauce is not as flavorful anymore. This is the 3rd time me noticing it, to the point I’m not so thrilled to go anymore.

Crab legs no good. I got three very small clusters the outer legs so small they didn’t have meat in them because they was cooked WAY TO LONG. The only part that had meat came out as mush because they was cooked too long. Corn was hard. Took 20 minutes to get our mixed drinks (they weren’t busy). My dad’s drink came out incorrect 2 times before he told them just to forget it then charged him for the drink anyways. Needless to say we won’t be back

i like alaskan king crab because it’s less work and a better experience, not today! The crab was fishy tasting but i was going to deal with that but the crab was so done that it was sticking to the shell and i couldn’t get a solid piece out and only bits at a time not being it without a piece of shell attached. at $60 lb, 2 legs i expected much better. i asked for manager. i explained and she asked if she could take the one leg i had only cut open to the kitchen manager. she returns and asked did i want out remade. i declined and said just want something off my bill. took almost $10 off; remember she took 30$ worth of legs back to the kitchen!! do better Red Hook!

Not quite sure why they call it Cajun. The food isn't up to Louisiana standards. Pretty sure they precook the seafood and wait for the customer to say what seasoning they want because the meat is bland but the shells are coated in the seasoning. Never been to a restaurant where the food is served in plastic bags! The restaurant is dark and doesn't seem very clean. The waitress didn't take her time and needed to be asked for refills. And the molten chocolate cake was horrible. Not a good place to eat.

First time here. Server was ok, she wasn't overly friendly, actually not friendly at all. Didn't smile, or even ask how are you tonight or welcome us in. As a matter of fact, I didn't see any employees smile. Several were on phones though.
As for the food, I can be a little harsh when it comes to good seafood as I'm from Louisiana and my in-laws are in the Pacific Northwest so we know great seafood. This was not great, it was fair. The catfish was very "dirty" meaning you could taste the dirt taste. The fried oysters were overly breaded and the gumbo was no more than Campbell's gumbo soup. Gumbo is not supposed to be that watery. Unfortunately, for the almost $100 it cost for the three of us, this was a one and done visit.

Let me begin by saying. If you go here stick with the seafood boils. I believe that’s there specialty and what is best! I got the seafood combo fired. Oysters and catfish with Cajun fries. Fries were cold. No taste, everything was frozen. Hope to get it one more chance!
