Have been coming here for a few weeks now. The food is always good. The wait times are normally off. They will tell you 10 minutes. It’ll be more like 15-20. But the food is definitely worth it.

Amazingly tasty. The Hungry Shack is a fantastic little joint I never knew existed. I frequent the Jackson area as I am Pro A/V installer and technician I happen to be in the area during lunch and was driving by when I saw the little shack. The building is a little older and could use some renovation, but that is exactly why they say do not judge a book by it's cover. As soon as I saw the menu I knew I was going to have a hard time picking something, because I wanted everything! I went with the Garlic Parmesean Chicken wings and drums with seasoned fries. Not only was the food amazing, but they were super nice, remembered my name, brought the food out to me. I can't wait until I find myself in the area again. Bring cash for the tip yall!

Today was my first day trying the hungry shack and I’m not gonna lie. I was a little scared but when I came up to the restaurant, the owner made me feel like I was home and I love that about it and overall the food is actually good I got the fried okra And the fried chicken salad. It may be a small place but it's big in taste. One of the best double bacon. Cheese burgers I have had in a while. I recommend u got try this place out. The burgers are very very very good and juicy.
