We had the charcuterie board and salmon crustinie for appetizers. Excellent! He had the fried tilapia sandwich and I had the rib eye. Also excellent. My only disappointment was the Mac and 5 cheese. The cheese sauce was watery. I've been making Mac and cheese for over 35 years and the sauce is never watery.

Blacksmith never disappoints. We've been there three or four times now and ordered various things from the menu. All very well prepared and extremely good, service is always great also.
Husband and I visited from out of town, and decided to try this place. We sat on the patio and really enjoyed ourselves. Food and service were great, and our steaks were really good too! Would definitely eat here again!

1st Visit - February 2019 Great food and atmosphere! We sat outside on the patio and the fires made it so cozy. 2nd Visit - October 2024 We sat outside on the patio again and it was great - super warm weather for an October in Tennessee. My husband was very pleased with the ribs he ordered - they were excellent. I, on the other hand, ordered a Medium Rare Burger and received a Well Done burger with no flavor. I didn't complain as I assumed it might be policy to overcook burgers due to fear of undercooking. But I had been looking forward to a nice juicy burger and received a grey overdone disk instead. Also - the burger comes with one side. When reviewing the sides I saw that 4 were "premium" and had an upcharge of $1.00. I ordered the Grape Salad, which was in the left hand column on the menu, not the right hand column that was identified as premium sides by the asterisks next to the names. When I received our bill, I saw that I was charged $1.00 for the Grape Salad. I questioned it and was told that it was a mistake on their part - that it should be identified as a premium side as they usually charge for it. They did take the dollar off because they admitted it was their error - but I would suggest to either fix the menu or advise the customer of the upcharge when it is ordered. Same with the burger - it should be identified that the burger will not be cooked to order but will be cooked well done. Had I been informed of that, I would have ordered something different.

What a great little place in downtown Jackson! Excellent food! (definitely try the pretzel - it's amazing) Our entire meal was so good and we even split the carrot cake although we were so full we should have brought it with us for later. Definitely a must try if you are visiting Jackson! Great live music - looking at you Dinosaur Hippies! Such a fun date night!
Came here and the food is amazing! But I have to call out the exceptionally great service they provide here too esp since it’s a factor that has been missing for most companies since Covid. There was a delay in a few items and team member came out to apologize, explain that they are not typically like this but they have a few ppl training and they hope we still are having a good experience and ensured we had no problems at all! Customer service means so much esp in these times that I would say I go out of my way to support those that still provide their customers with GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT JUST ANY SERVICE EXPERIENCE!

Please be advised that this restaurant uses a waitlist service that they do not update or honor. It can definitely derail plans for an evening when you are sent confirmation text messages saying that there are 2 parties ahead of you with a 6-8 minute wait and when you speak with the hostess you find out that you actually have 6 parties ahead of you with at least a 30 minute wait.
