My husband and I were visiting the area for the first time and did a quick google search for places to eat. They had good reviews so we decided to try it out. I can say, we were not disappointed. The food and service were excellent. It is not your typical Tennessee Mexican food joint. The food was very authentic and fresh. The salsa is some of the best I have ever had. The wait staff was friendly and very attentive. Anyone, not just our waiter, when they passed by asked if we needed anything. The prices were good with generous portion sizes. Everything was perfect. When in the area again, we will definitely be back.

My wife and I love this restaurant. The staff are friendly and the service is always fast. However, it will probably be our last visit for a while.
This visit the chips were luke warm and stale. The queso dip was super thinned down and barely warm, it didn't even cling to the chips. More like it just poured off the chips and dripped all over. However, the salsa was excellent as always.
We ordered our favorites and we were left disappointed again. My entrée had grilled chicken with cheese sauce, rice, refried beans and tortillas. The chicken was covered in so much oil it turned the cheese sauce brown. The cheese was so thin it managed to spread to my entire plate.
We always get a chicken quesadilla along with our regular entrées. The chicken quesadilla was so oily when they delivered it to our table. It had already formed puddles of brown oil on the plate.
We have eaten here many times before and the food is not always like this. But our last few visits it has gotten much worse.
We are saddened that the food quality has gone downhill. Hopefully they improve and get back on track soon.

Ordered chicken quesadillas a very simple thing for a Mexican restaurant to see their quality and flavors. They were awesome didn't get a picture, but well seasoned and not slung together. Ready to go back for something else.

Nestled in the heart of Jamestown, Tennessee is this quaint and authentic Mexican restaurant with beautiful paintings and decor with lots of room and comfort to dine in. We were pleasantly surprised with just how fresh and flavorful the refried beans, vegetables, meats, and even the rice delivered hot and steaming to our decorated booth table. Our servers had smiles and were very patient when we asked about a few of the plates items and prepping. We thoroughly enjoyed our first time visit at lunch time.

We were sightseeing in the beautiful alpine region and we stopped at El Azul for a late afternoon lunch. It was So fresh and flavorful! Really good service too and the first thing we noticed when we came in was how fresh and clean it was! Thank you so much for a great place to eat on vacation❤️
