the hot chicken salad is by far the best salad I have ever had in my life. the sauce tastes like a million angel kisses. freaking delicious. great service. I high recommend!!!

Eating here was an experience. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was a lot of fun. I felt like I was back at my grandmas house. 10/10

The foods awesome. Flat out terrific. It's a great home town feel with the spice and kick that is definitely unique. We loved it. Also the service was good, they cut up my daughter's order so it would be easier for her to eat and we didn't even ask, that really impressed us because it's those thoughts that matter. The little things you do for your customers. We loved it and will be back. There was some initial sticker shock on the price but the taste made up for it.

If you go to Granddaddy’s, please listen to the woman that is trying to make you change your mind about level 3 ( hot). That was not fire, that was hell! Listen to her, women are always right! If you are a man, don’t try to be a macho, level 3 will make you cry. Oh, and hot okra is AMAZING! You will get fresh and HOT 🔥 😁food. By the way, amazing costumer service. I got high, kind of drunk feeling on HOT Chicken. 😋😜😁

Let’s start with the high. The chicken tenders were sizable, juicy, and very hot temperature wise. It went downhill from there. The seasoning is absolutely loaded with so much salt you need to drink a gallon of water just to dilute it. Every other flavor was muted by the load of salt. Whatever they use in the seasoning stains your fingers yellow, never had that happen before. Fries were nothing special. Either the food has gone down substantially or the reviews are from family, friends, or bought as the food no way comes close to getting a mid rating.Let’s talk about the restaurant itself. They charge a 15% service charge if you eat in. What that service fee is for is beyond me, as there is only one table that seats 2 in the restaurant. All the other tables and chairs are stacked up on top of each other and pushed against the wall. I guess the service fee is to dissuade you from staying and to get your food to go. There is no table service other than dropping off the food.You get your own drinks in a styrofoam cup from a DIRTY soda fountain that clearly has mold growing on the dried up soda syrup which is all over it.To say the rest of the restaurant is dirty is an understatement, floors looks old and especially filthy with the food all along the walls. The front doors you can barely see out of due to the dirt and grime.Go at your own peril

Outrageous prices

Thanks for your response but I believe $47.20 for a chicken baked potato, chicken sandwich with fries and 2 drinks is not reasonable

One of the best fried chicken in the area. It was really delicious. The reason i gave 4 star is for the amount of oil they used. It was insane. The box and bags were all soaked in oil.

Food was made fresh. However there was a small fried fly on my tender. The spice levels are no joke. I always get the spiciest level at every hot chicken place and my insides couldn't handle Born Again level. Fries were a little dry but otherwise fine. Would come back if prices were cut in half $24 for a meal is insane. Other options around Nashville even better for way less.

Wouldn’t take my pick up order without paying up front. Been ordering and picking up for a long long time. Did not want to dig for my credit card while driving. They told me they would cook it after I got there and paid. They told me they got stuck with a $200 order. Mine was just 2 chicken quarters and sides. Did not want to sit and wait for 20-25 minutes after a 10 hour work day. I gave them 4 stars because they have a great chicken and have always been nice people. Have your card ready. I like to pay cash. Sadly can’t call back. It’s the world we live in.

I tried the location in Old Hickory and it is AMAZING! I will definitely be back!
