Not a local, but I visit the area yearly. Was told that they have good food so I decided to check it out. Ordered the Cheddar Style double burger tray with fries, hush puppies, and a Reese's peanut butter cup milkshake.
The good: Service was friendly. Milkshake was super thick and the chunks of PB cups in it added great flavor. The hush puppies also had a delicious sweetness to them that you don't normally get at most fast food joints.
The mediocre: French fries were French fries. Perfectly adequate.
The bad: The burger patties were small and there was an absurd amount of fried onions on the burger. Pretty sure there was an entire onion stacked on there, which completely outweighed the miniscule burger patties. Even after scraping a half pound of onions off the burger, I found the burger patties to lack any real flavor. By far, the worst burger I've had in a few years.
The annoying: As good as my milkshake was, the pb cup chunks in it were way too big to fit through the straw, so I had to eat it with a spoon. This wouldn't bother me if I was at a sit down joint, but since it's drive through only, I wasn't able to enjoy my shake while driving.
In closing: Would definitely go back to try more of their milkshake flavors and enjoy a side of hush puppies, but the burger was horrible and I'll gladly take my business elsewhere for a full meal.

Employees need to pay attention or ask for you to repeat your order rather than just guessing by the time they put the order together. Not thing in my order was right except hush puppies. I'd think they gave me the wrong order. But I was the only car in line at all.

Tell me why the only thing I ordered was a small burger out west style with grilled onions, got raw onions, with Cajun fries, that had no Cajun seasoning, and a CHEESE quesadilla and got chicken. Can yall not make a SINGLE ORDER CORRECTLY?? God forbid I’m pregnant and just want my food the WAY I ORDER IT

You’d think a place that’s drive through only wouldn’t need a whole parking lot but I guess they really need the more than 6 spaces for the employees so badly that they happily tow away the cars that park there to go to local restaurants that are better and nicer.
Came to Elizabeth City cookout. Order not made right the first time around. Ordered a single burger and a double. The single had more meet than the double. The hamburger didn’t even cover the bun. Had more bun than meat. Go to wipe out hands. And no napkins given. Tighten up.

Took a bite out of my cheese quesadilla, pulled a hair out of my mouth. Then looked at the box, another hair. Not to mention my hush puppies had styrofoam on them from the burnt tray.
