Went for an early breakfast on a Sunday morning. Met Brian & Brianna, the friendly new owners. Josh, our server, was quick to take our order. Provided excellent service throughout the whole meal. I had the egg, cheese and sausage biscuit which was perfect in every way. Mh husband ordered the Lamar Breakfast which came with corned beef hash which he reported as excellent. Coffee was good. Josh kept the refills coming. A very enjoyable family atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. We will return!

Hungry Frog diner has new owners Brian and Brianna. Open for business from 7-3 offering breakfast and lunch casual dining. Good home style food menu at fair prices. We will be regular customers.

Great food! Very reasonable prices. I love an all-day breakfast, and the pancakes were the best I’ve had in a long time! Plus, the French fries I snatched from my nephew’s plate were very good! Wonderful service. A+++

Boyfriend and I go almost every weekend or when we are off work. I always get breakfast, which is my favorite food ever and hungry frog has awesome biscuits and gravy and another thing I like is that my eggs are always cooked exactly how I want them.Exactly.❤️ and they are so affordable. Excellent food. I would definitely recommend.

The waitress was very nice it seems to be a very clean little place , we got the T burger, and it was nasty, the tomatoes were sour tasting like they were rotten and the meat had a fake taste to it , like rubber, this was the first and last time of eating there. Plus it was over priced especially for the quality of food that we were served.

2nd time for breakfast and both were not good. 1st time eggs were runny when I asked for over easy. 2nd time went with scrambled and they were dry and scorched plus bacon tasted very odd. I think it might have been rotten. Done with breakfast there. May give lunch one shot, but we'll see. On positive note, waitresses are wonderful and service was good.We were there Thursday, May 12th at approx. 8:45 am

Ordered delivery for the first time tonight, we ordered a couple burgers, the appetizer basket and a order of funnel cake fries, it was delicious. Our food was delivered in just a few minutes, and they had forgotten to include our appetizer, but they brought it straight back and included extras for the mistake. Will be ordering again, everything was warm when we got it and tasted great. You could tell they cared because we had hand written notes with our orders from the staff. I would definitely suggest getting an order of the funnel cake fries if you like sweets, taste just like funnel cakes at the fair! Can’t wait to try the breakfast! It was also reasonably priced and you get a pretty large portion size. Happy customer!

Great place! Staff was friendly and helpful in making my decision on what to have! Great atmosphere! Even the other customers were very nice, but what else would one expect in the foothills of Tennessee! Biscuits and gravy were delicious and my portion was huge! I will be back!

We ordered the big potato and it was served cold! It wasn't even luke warm. The service was great but the food... not so much

Cost me 17.00 for breakfast and milk for myself only. Food was ok at best and the gravy not up to my standards. Friendly and clean though .

Wanted so much to love this place, but unfortunately it's not for me. First, let me say the service was friendly and efficient, so excellent 5-star service. For $12.99 I ordered a "Jonesborough Breakfast", which included 2 biscuits and gravy, 2 eggs, 2 meats (I chose corned beef hash and bacon), and home fries. The B&G was not bad. The biscuits weren't great or terrible, but they just didn't taste like good fresh home-made biscuits to me. The gravy has some sausage in it and it's not that white paste some people serve. I'd order it again. The over-easy eggs were scorched a little bit from the griddle being too hot. The bacon was balled up like it was thrown into a pot to cook. I prefer mine in flat strips fully cooked crisp. The home fries were deep fried diced white potatoes. I prefer shredded hash browns crispy on the grill but didn't see that on the menu. The corned beef hash was basically canned hash thrown on the grill for a minute. I prefer it fried crispy. I hate leaving a critical review, because I really want small local businesses to be successful and make lots of money. I hope other people like it more than I did.

Food is fair but is very pricey.
