Wow! Is an understatement. I have never been to a more down to earth winery. Bill is so well put together, but so humble and I felt at home! I actually attended today with a friend for a candle pour class and it was just amazing!! Great wine!

The wine at White Squirrel is only one of the many reasons why I love this winery. The Sanderson family at White Squirrel is genuinely invested in their community and the customers they serve.
I've yet to try a bottle that wasn't perfectly crafted. If you're looking for a recommendation on where to start, I highly suggest the Red Muscadine. It is by far my favorite and go-to bottle whenever we visit.
I love the atmosphere too. The inside of the winery offers ample space to sit and sip, or you can sit outside with a bottle and enjoy the picturesque scenery of the nearby vineyards.
We enjoy White Squirrel so much that we joined their wine club a few years ago. There have been a few occasions, when we didn't have a chance in our schedule to drive down to pick up our quarterly selections, that Bill Sanderson personally delivered the wine to our home.
We've even picked out gift baskets to send to friends and family during the holidays and special occasions.
And, they have graciously hosted fundraising events throughout the years as a way to enrich the people and community they serve.
And, if you're coming in from out of town, they offer an overnight Airbnb loft on site.

AMAZING wine and customer service! Tina guided us through our taste testing and we loved learning about the wines. The owner is so friendly and was out talking to all the customers. The building is so nice and I love the white squirrel artwork on the wine labels, plus all the other crafted items available to buy. This place was a great find and we would definitely recommend!

On our way back to Chicago we passed to visit White Squirrel Winery as we love to visit and pick up some bottles. I didn’t know what to expect but my wife and I really enjoyed our visit. The owner spent time explaining the process of making their wine and even showed us around. They have a room with bedroom and bath etc that they Airbnb which we found very nice and cozy. The wine we tasted were all delicious we grabbed a few. Thank you for you hospitality we will definitely be back to restock once we are done.
