We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Bearclaw cabin at River Place! The entire staff was friendly, the cabin was clean and beautiful, and the restaurant was really good! We rented a canoe for the 4 mile trip, which took us about 4 hours with lots of fishing and not as much paddling. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

We don’t eat out much, but when we do we find ourselves driving over an hour to visit River Place (normally on a Friday for the fish fry). It’s worth it every time. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and a very laid back vibe! So glad I stumbled upon this place while out cycling a few years back👍👍

The friendly and welcoming staff are ADV biker friendly. They opened the store for this weary traveller on a day that they are typically closed. They also shared their Wi-Fi which got me back on the road and headed in the right direction (beware, there is no ATT cell coverage for miles).

River Place is a Great place to go we did it as a staycation and will definitely do it again!!! Actually looking to book again in the next week or so! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and as sweet as can be! Enjoyed every day we were there!!!!

The cheeseburgers were absolutely the best I have ever had and the fried pickles were so good we found ourselves fighting for the fallen crumbles at the bottom of the pouch! I would highly recommend eating here the first chance you get!

Stayed here several times over the years with good experiences, however this year a 40$ cleaning fee has been added to all room charges. There is a 2 night minimum which means just to sleep here is 250$. then if you want kayak, eat, etc. can become expensive. How about a 40$ cleaning deposit for thrashed rooms and refund for others?
