Soup Joumou
This soup, sometimes called the freedom soup in Haiti. It is a full bodied vegetarian soup made with kalabasa squash or sometimes called kabocha and is used as the base. Add carrot, celery, potatoes, and some cabbage. It's seasoned with a special blend of Caribbean spices that make this the best soup ever. If you are not vegetarian add your protein of choice.

I had the Tasso Béf with Rice and Red Beans last week and I’m still thinking about it. The food was delicious, the sauce and pikliz were perfect, and the serving was worth the price. If you’ve never had Haitian food, please try it out and you’ll see why we have the most flavorful food in the world. I will be back soon! Oh yeah, and the lady serving me was very sweet. 5/5 across the board!

Absolutely amazing food! I had the tassot cabrit and it was perfectly cooked; tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Marjorie went above and beyond with her hospitality. She was friendly, welcoming, and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for authentic, delicious Haitian food and great service!

Great Haitian spot in Nashville! Food and service were top tier. Highly recommend for anyone who’s hungry for some Haitian cuisine. We had the tassot Kabrit and Diri kolé. Portions were large and fulfilling.
