This place was great!Honestly, 5 stars isn't enough. Polite staff, amazing food, reasonable price.Food was slower to come out than I expected, but when it arrived... I understood why. Everything was incredibly fresh and served hot. Best fried okra I've found in the area. Greens were perfect. The Philly wasn't what I'd call a "traditional" Philly cheese steak sandwich, but it was an incredible soul food take on it with the meat being well seasoned and perfectly spiced.I will be back. As often as I can. I don't live in Murfreesboro, but if I'm eating there, I will be trying to do so here.

Decided to try this place out for the first time and it was probably the most tender chicken I have ever eaten. I ordered the chicken plate and it was phenomenal. I will be returning !

I just happened to be in murfreesboro and looked online and seen the local newspaper was having a black restaurants week. The first restaurant I saw was Bee Hive Bistro. I have seen the sign before but didn't realize it was black owned or soul food. I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did! The food was delicious! Even my picky teenage daughter ate every bite and she doesn't like anything. If you are reading this review go in there and support this young man. You won't be disappointed. I have already told my family members. I will definitely be back!

Went on 5/20/21. Food was ok enough (chicken was juicy and the okra was crunchy and seasoned) for the price we paid, but not good enough that I would come back with the other issues. Stars were given for food alone. Bummer, I wanted to like the place, bc I'd heard many good things.Beehive was not clean inside, we arrived just after opening and the trash can inside the dining area (bus your own table) was full already. We arrive at like 11:05. No way that trash was from today. The floor was sticky all around the dining area. Had to go to 3 different tables to find a ketchup container with any in it. Salt shaker on the table was sticky as well.

Oh my goodness!! 10 out of 10... would recommend! My husband and I came out for lunch, and it was so good! He got the grilled chicken sandwich with okra, and I got seasoned wings with honey hot sauce and okra. The food was all delicious! The wings were so crispy and that honey hot sauce... woo buddy.

We went for the fried fish (OMIGOSH--until today, I thought fried fish was just a tarter sauce delivery device, but I didn't adulterate this crunchy, delicious fish with it at all!). Tried four of the sides and each one had something unique and different about it. Support local! Try them! Next door to Waffle House at Mercury & Rutherford in Murfreesboro.And you've gotta love that the owner walks through to make sure every customer is happy!

Stopped in to get food the one girl was emptying trash in the dining area and another man was emptying trash in the kitchen. The man handed the trash over the counter to the girl. The girl took the trash outside or backroom and went behind the counter in like 10 seconds The girl then asked to take our order neither one of them washed their hands and proceed to wait on us. Needless to say we immediately left and will never be back

When we went they were a little busy so it took us a while to get our food. They kept us updated the whole time and gave us extra food and was very apologetic. They have the best fried pork chops! Food was fresh when i got it. Great food and awesome customer service

Went to try something new and glad we did! They service was amazing but nothing compared to the food. I don't have words to describe how amazing. I had the veggie plate with the best tasting veggies, ever! They threw in some peach cobbler and BAM!! I will definitely be back and tell as many people as possible to visit.
