3 weeks ago I bought 2 packages of 80/20 hamburger. Cooked one that day, sort of tough, put the other one on the bottom tray to use later. Today,after 3 weeks, it's as red as the day I bought it. Just can't be. Should have turned brown. Something is wrong with your meats. Thinking of having this package checked out. Will never buy meats of any kind again there.

I absolutely love this Kroger! The employees are amazing and polite and helpful! I always leave this store with a smile! I have the choice of this one or the one in Smyrna and I chose this one every time! Much better experience! And the pharmacy staff here go above and beyond to help their patients. So thorough with information!

Two years ago, I would have given this Kroger a score of 5 but in the last 24 months it has declined.
I have to carefully check expiration dates on food. The latest was more than 10 Carb Master yogurts with an expiration date of December 20, 2017. My shopping date was January 12, 2018.
My husband picked up a pork lion before Christmas which was one week out of date. Kroger replaced the item, but it was still a hassle to return.
I purchased deli turkey from the deli and when I opened to use the next day it smelled sour. When I called the deli, I was told I must not have stored the meat properly. After being transferred to Management, the deli turkey was refunded but again it was a hassle. In the last 24 months I’ve had to shop elsewhere to complete my shopping needs because the store hasn’t had all the items I’ve needed.. Simple things, like cheese or sour cream. Often if the item is a sale item, you can’t find it.
I’ve also noticed the store isn’t being kept clean. The trash cans at the entrance of the store are always running over with trash and the store has a horrendous odor back near the meat department.
I really wish this store could get it together. The grocery shopping is very limited in LaVergne. You’d think Kroger would want to take advantage of how quickly the residual population is growing in LaVergne and step it up a notch!

I like this Kroger in LaVergne. It's not as big as some other stores that I've been to in the area. That makes my shopping go much faster.
Competent employees and nice employees would be a plus for this store....attitudes in abundance = poor customer service....maybe some should consider other means of employment rather than working with the public.....

BE CAREFUL!! As the La Vergne Kroger does NOT rotate their stock and remove Out of Date Items!!!! On Sunday February 12th,2017 I accidently bought a 6 pack of Kroger brand Vitamin Enhanced Water Beverage, Orange Starfruit. The heavy plastic wrap around the 6 pack covered the bottles, but you could still read the date { normally I'm so careful with everything that I buy in this location! I know this Kroger's history } The Sell Buy Date is October 12th,2016!! WTH?? !! Then the cashiers act like its a total inconvenience to check me out ! I will drive over to the Sam Ridley Parkway Kroger from now on, since there are NO grocery stores in La Vergne.
