Everytime I am in town I have to stop and get a chili dog and fried okra. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. I have not made it to the music on Friday nights yet, but hope to in January I'd they have it.
Katie’s carry out is a locally owned restaurant that reminds me of a diner. They have the best cheeseburgers, and my son is addicted to her cheesecake. All staff very friendly, and helpful. You can eat in her large restaurant or get something to go. A great place for Southern home cooked food.
We had the pleasure of eating at Katie’s after spending time at Norris Lake. If I could give over 5 stars, I would! I can honestly say this was the best breakfast I’ve ever had! The omelet was filled to the brim with ham, bacon, sausage, onions, peppers and cheese…..absolutely the best omelette!!!
