First time we have eaten at The Local Restaurant. The food was outstanding as well as the service. The servings were huge! We definitely got our monies worth. Will definitely go back!!!!

This place use to be very busy but the cost of their food very costly for I why you get. Called to order and left me on hold for 7 minutes. Also the dinner in close so sides but because I ordered onion rings it was $3 more. Never going back

We had a birthday celebration for our daughter. The staff, ALL OF THE STAFF, were extremely welcoming. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, service was fast, the restaurant was VERY clean. All of our food was delicious. We had brought in a cake, staff provided us small plates and utensils. Love this place and will definitely be coming back. Service is absolutely top notch

Service was very much lacking. Had to ask for plates for our appetizer of fried green tomatoes. My husband did not receive his side salad. The salad was frozen on the top layer. Did not receive a condiment with onions rings. (Ketchup was on the table), had to ask for ranch dressing. Ranch dressing was watered down. Waitress did not ask us if we wanted a refill on drink. Poor service and main coursefood was nothing special.

Some great food here, good BLT only one thing holding it back from being excellent in my opinion: needs an option to use normal bread, not a fan of texas toast for my sandwiches. I enjoy the roast beef and mashed potatoes! People are great, friendly and quick. Had to update my review, tried the chicken fingers today and they were the worst I've ever had! They were burnt and tasteless. The breading was burnt and the chicken was like bad rubber inside. I will not try those again, and I recommend you don't either. Had the Mashed potatoes and green beans and those are still fantastic! They need to look into how they fry their chicken fingers.

My family moved to Caryville this year. We were looking for a close restaurant to us that served great food.
There hasn’t been anything on the menu we have tried that we haven’t liked.
My husband and I came a lot without my children as they are picky eaters. We finally took the kiddos and they enjoyed their food as well!!
Atmosphere is great, the catfish is my favorite to get. I still haven’t gotten to try their salmon patties as I loved these growing up!!
The staff is nice, the place is clean. Highly recommend eating here.
Local offered a great menu with options for those of us who love healthy food options. I had the grilled chicken with coleslaw which was good. My dad had the protein bowel with his choice of protein, quinoa , veggies and sauce. My sons had chicken fajita and cheeseburger burger with hush puppies. My picky eater at everything and that’s a testimony in itself 🤣. The waitress was very attentive and nice.

Had a call in went to get it get back home the whole order is wrong call back they said your order just came up so got back out in the rain to go get it all they was worry about the other order so instead of them saying keep this one for the mistake so they rather throw it away instead just thinking that was wasteful
