I was really excited to find this winery after the Millington winery closed and my favorite muscidine wine was missed. So I search for wineries in the area that made muscidine wine. I found Delta Blues, and taste tested their wines but was disappointed to find that most of their wines are dinner and desert wines. I'm looking for a palletable wine with more of a kick not a wash my pallete. Nice property. Otherwise if your looking for Good Wine, hmmm, not so much here.
This place is great! The wines are really good and the people are very friendly. The property is beautiful, and there are lots of places to sit and enjoy a glass of wine... or many glasses. I tried several different wines, and the plum is my favorite. They have a nice pavilion where bands will come and perform. If you like wine and live outdoor music, you'll love this place.
While most of Delta Blues’ wines lack complexity, there are a couple of options that make the trip worthwhile. My favorites are their Cayuga and Bodacious Blackberry. More than the wine however, I love the staff. The winery features live music and various food trucks, both of which prolong my visits.
