Just went to Wayback Burgers in Lake District at 6:52pm on a Friday. Open signs were turned on but doors were locked. What appeared to be an employee siting at a table with his crutches scrolling on his phone. Disappointing to say the least. Want to support local places in Lakeland but probably won’t be back to Wayback.

I love the place, but today it is a high of 96°, and the a/c is down. Considering this is a corporate chain, there should be temporary a/c until the main one is fixed for your employees, especially. They are serving your customers with smiles on their face despite extreme heat.

Wanted to eat out but their AC must have been down so it was really hot in there. Should have just left when I realized it but decided to order for take-out. The milkshake came out before the food was ready so I started to drink it but it had a horrible taste to it. Like the machine was burning up and imparted fumes into the milkshake. I asked for a refund for the shake and was looked at like I was a massive inconvenience and didn't receive any sort of apology. Reading the reviews I can see that others have had the same issue so this isn't me just making it up. They were so rude about it! The burger was fine. The fries were below average but edible. I really wanted to like this place but I won't be going back.

Heard about this place and decided to check it out . Me and the Miss came to the Lakeland location, and it was aight. Nice chill spot to hang out. My opinion a little over price but good food. It's been a minute since I've posted anything, and we've been trying lots of new restaurants. Well, I'm back, and if you're in the Lakeland area, check them .

Waited 10-20 mins to still get cold chicken and unmelted cheese on the wrong thing. I order the new fries and received this . Tried calling but no answer so now i wasted my money
