I ended up in Lascassas to pick up mail, didn’t end up being at the right place due to the mess that is our poor postal service rn due to defunding

Alas, I noticed how cute this place was (SO CUTE), and the postal lady said it was a great restaurant so I figured I would try it out and hopefully add a little good to a poopy situation.

They were so friendly and even though I’m Celiac and my options were limited, I got a burger with no bun & it was genuinely the BEST burger I have had in a long time. Don’t know where they get their meat from but I’m assuming that the cows are local because of how good the quality was.

I’ll probably never be back to Lascassas, but if you’re here, give them a try!! You won’t regret the burger I promise

Had a delicious breakfast here. We particularly loved the eggs and hash brown casserole. The service was so friendly and my kids loved looking at the toys. Come support this local business!

If you haven’t been to Busy Bee Cafe in Lascassas, you’re missing out! 🐝💛 The sweetest family owns it, and you can feel the love the moment you walk in. They even let my dog come inside. Not only did he get water, but they petted him AND gave him some ham…I’m not sure if dogs are normally allowed, but the owner was kind enough to make us feel so welcome.

The vibe is kinda like Cracker Barrel, but way better because it’s local, family-run, and everyone there was just radiating that good old Southern hospitality. 10/10, highly recommend (my dog does too). 🐶✨

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem in Our Small Town!

Busy Bee Cafe is an absolute treasure! The food is delicious, fresh, and comes out super quick — perfect for a lunch break or a casual bite. The fried bologna sandwich was a standout, full of flavor and cooked just right. Don’t skip the desserts either — they were absolutely amazing!

The atmosphere is adorable — very southern, cozy, and welcoming. The staff is incredibly sweet and make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. It’s the kind of place that makes you proud to have it in your hometown. Can’t wait to go back!

Great friendly people! We are from Louisiana and they made us feel at home and told us about some great local spots to try! Code was great along with the breakfast! We even got a chicken salad to go for lunch, banana pudding and banana pudding cheesecake!

I finally had a chance to try out this little cafe in Lascassas. The service is friendly and welcoming. However, I'm not sure I'll be back. The atmosphere was busy and cluttered with second hand items for sale, definitely not for everyone. Personally, I was greatly disappointed that the chicken salad sandwich was on plain white bread. It had a healthy portion of chicken salad on the sandwich but it wasn't the best I've ever had and I couldn't finish it. I tried the turkey panini my husband got and it was just ok but could have been warmer.

I hate to give this kind of review but I feel like feedback is helpful from both sides, positive or negative. Overall, it's a great concept that needs a little refining.

The deep freezer in the dining area with insulation hanging out isn't helping with the vibe.

Me and my girlfriend came in for some coffee and breakfast. From the jump, the service was amazing. we got our latte’s quickly and they were delicious, pulled fresh shots of espresso. I got the breakfast burrito and my lady got the bacon biscuit, we waited maybe 15minutes. WOW!!! It was so amazing! Best bacon i’ve ever had at any restaurant, ever. truly home made. the decor on the inside is so cute and truly captures that “busy bee” spirit! Vintage vibes, sweet smiles, southern hospitality, and the best damn breakfast you’ve ever tried. Seriously, give this small business a try!!!
