The food is fantastic! Portion sizes are generous. You get your monies worth. I just wish they were open more days of the week. If y’all read and believe the reviews, and start going they may be able to open more days.

Ray and all of his team are amazing and absolutely the friendliest. The food is amazing. Best BBQ I’ve ever had. We immediately pinned his place for our next trip to TN!

We went to a really fun, really good place last night. Fat guy Southern Kitchen has great food, great service, great prices, and the atmosphere was so cool. Little outside venue with live music. Give this a try. It’s a super change of pace. Convenient to the Boro. Two thumbs up all the way around.

I believe that this is THE BEST BBQ in Rutherford County Tennessee!!! The owner is the nicest guy ever and the outside seating area is so simple yet cool. It's everything that your favorite BBQ place should be. Take a little drive out to Lasacassas and ask for the brisket tacos. You will thank me!

It was okay. My meal was accidentally given to someone else and even though the person said they had touched it it was given to me. Not cool! Had to ask for new meal. Had hamburger and it was good.

This was fantastic place to eat. A converted house in Lascassas that is a southern BBQ restaurant. There is a sweet outdoor eating section with a live band on Friday and Saturday or you can eat inside the house.

We talked to the owner Mr. Ray (a cousin of Roy Clark) and heard of all of his adventures in business.

With our bed and breakfast, we are going to direct visitors his way for a wonderful plate of BBQ. The portions are big as well and the banana pudding and pecan pie (both home made) are the icing on the cake, so to speak.

Take an evening and go and support Mr Ray (Fat Guy) and enjoy the ambience.

Loved the chicken, pulled pork, cole slaw, and mac and cheese personally but my husband loved everything we got with the sampler platter. Very cute place, they have out door seating also with live music on the weekends. Very kind and friendly staff too. SWEET TEA IS PERFECT!

Stopped to try Fatguy Southern Kitchen BBQ today in Lascassas, was not disappointed! BBQ and brisket is awesome! Ray and his staff were awesome to get to know. We will definitely be going back!

This place did not disappoint. Its hard to find true barbecue in the midsouth along with friendly customer service but this place took care of us! Shoutout to Rob & Miss Joe! Great place to go after payday lol. Will definitely be back!
