Burgers and fries are great if you order from the menu. Buffet has plenty of choices meats and vegetables. Good salad bar with desserts. If you’re in the area stop by for some good food.

Drifters is a wonderful restaurant and we're really glad they are there. Good atmosphere, plenty of room/ seating. The breakfast buffet is really with noting. Friendly and easy to get into and out of. Go see them, get full and enjoy the scenery.

The friendliest service ever, breakfast buffet is awesome. Friday night buffet is also great.

It's an old fish fry buffet. The locals seem to absolutely love this place. Go for the Cajun fried fish but forget trying to get down the salad-- its not a salad place!

The food is southern home style cooking, and everything I had there was good. Breakfast was good, their lunch buffet was good as well. We ate there three times, because it was good and convenient. I rated the atmosphere 4 star because it was "nothing special" it was your typical dinner. But, it was well taken care of and the employees were personable and provided decent service!

Cute diner in nowhere. We arrived for breakfast, but on a non-buffet day. Filled with locals, in a small town of Lavina . Prices are reasonable and ordered the 1/2 country ham, 2 eggs, biscuits, and gravy and an order of biscuits and gravy. First, gravy is thin and plain. Eggs lack flavor, and country ham had a weird flavor to it. Biscuits were very good, but not enough to make up for the others. All in all, the lunch buffet might be a better choice. They did have the Daily bread of life at check out counter and didn't charge us for one meal after telling them it didn't taste good. Worth a 2nd chance here.

This is a small family dinner in Lavinia. It has a good buffet and there is a line before they open. Get there early or you will have to wait for the second seating. People will ask if you are willing to share your open seats with them. The night we were there, they had catfish, ham, shrimp, potatoes, fries, hush puppies, slaw, chocolate cobbler, pies, green beans, etc.

I really love the food and comfortable country atmosphere at The Drifters Diner....It's nice that although in the countryside, it's just down the road from my home.

Nice lil place to eat near the base, not much else around. But the food was pretty good and it was buffet. It would probably be much better if we went around lunchtime when the food was more fresh. Will definitely go back next time we work at the armory.
