The young lady who took our order was very nice. The food was just meh, very much over salted (particularly the fries) and over sweetened ( tea and lemonade). The food may or may not come from Sysco, but you get the feeling it didn't come off a smoker.

I hate giving bad reviews but this is partially for myself in the future as well. Our fried okra was burnt and had rock hard old fries within it. We were given a small pinch of pulled pork on a bun that came out thinner than a McDonald's cheeseburger. Not to mention the boy who took our order asked us to repeat what we wanted, then repeated it himself, then still typed in the wrong thing and charged us for something more expensive than we ordered. We tried to return the meal and get some money back for it to be corrected but it was simply corrected and we lost money to it.
The bottom line is, the portions are too small for the price I paid, the meat tasted old, and the fryers are apparently not being cleaned properly between uses. I'd rather not come back.

The Spinach Mandarin Chicken salad for $9.95 features smoked chicken, whole walnuts, bacon bits, cranberries and blue cheese on a fresh crunchy bed of spinach. It’s a generous plate, I took half home. Very good. The fried catfish is delicious with two sides for about $10. The fried okra was really tasty, the French fries were just ok, there are better sides to choose from. Pleasant atmosphere and people. I recommend it for lunch or dinner, but booths only limits the size of your party.
