Bellacino's Pizza & Grinders

I would give Bellacino 5 stars because the food is actually delicious especially the steak grinders but I haven't been in a while and there have definitely been some changes. For one, they made the bread ALOT thinner than it used to be so the sandwich is skinnier. Also I always order double meat and it looks like how regular meat used to look. Other than the shinkflation the food still taste excellent. The bread is soft and cheesy and the steak is tender. I recommend the Chicago steak grinder with the pickle on the side. It's delish.

Ordered some pizza, wings and garlic Cheese Bread. Wings were terrible, barely had any sauce on them, and are the tiniest wings I've personally ever seen. Got a 16" Cheese and it was basically Cheese Bread. Barely and signs of pizza sauce. Garlic cheese was decent. Honestly you will be better off going to a chain shop.

We got a 12” pepperoni, 16” 1/2 cheese 1/2 meatball peppers and onions, 6 piece hot & spicy wings. All was $43. Definitely not worth the money. The wings were a joke. They were the tiniest wings I’ve ever seen. The pizza was completely uneven and dry. Some parts were thick crust with no sauce while other parts were thin with extra sauce. This was my first and last time ordering here.

2025 update: I used to stop here all the time because it was the best service and the best food around. I haven’t passed through this area in about six or so years, and today I passed through and decided to stop in. I was super excited. When I got there, the menu was completely changed. The lady who was answering the phones and running the register was pretty rude to me. She forgot one item from my order and when I told her about it, she told me that it wasn’t on my order. When I showed her the receipt, she didn’t even apologize for the oversight. They were out of everything except like two drinks in the fountain machine. The grinder was also not as good as it used to be. 😔

Bathroom needed some attention. No grownups that I seen on duty. Kondiments needed replenishing. I gotta be able to wash my hands when I eat. I welcome the same feedback if vice versa.

What a mess!! Guys are goofing off in the kitchen, tables and floor needs to be cleaned, and don't get me started about the bathroom. What a shame. The food was fantastic!

Ordered two large 16" pizzas. When we got home and opened the boxes, we got two 12" pizzas. My wife called the restaurant, and they said their dough had been shrinking all day (I have never heard of this before). Which means they could have told us when we picked the pizza up. We had to get home to find out. They didn't do anything to make up for the issue. I would have hope they would have only charged us for two mediums instead of the larges. I will have to think if I will ever buy another meal from them.

The service was not good at all. Had an order where I requested pizzas to be cut in traditional slices (which they offer). When I got the order after waiting over 30 min., it was still cut into squares. Nobody there could’ve cared less, including the manager, who looked at me like I was wrong for making the request in the first place. Instead, they all looked at me like I had highly inconvenienced them. One of them said “I’m sure it all tastes the same.” I get that it can be busy, but I also don’t have the luxury of waiting longer than I need to. Got out of there after 45 minutes. Unfortunate, since I really liked their food. But after that experience, with the judging eyes and lack of customer service from management, I don’t think I can go back.

It has been a few years since I was last in this restaurant. I had to go in to pick up my to go order. The entire restaurant REEKED of a strong pungent smell that I can only assume was urine. The grinders we ordered have far fewer ingredients than they did a couple of years ago. Honestly, based only on the stench, I don't think I'll be back.

We recently moved to Mt Juliet/Lebanon. Based on the reviews we decided to order pizza here. I love that they have an online order option. We’ve ordered twice since the month we’ve been here. Each time the pizza was very good. I’m from Chicago originally and tend to be a pizza snob. I even like the sausage. The ingredients tasted fresh and the orders were ready when we go there for pick up. Highly recommend.
