The sides were great, potato salad, bbeans, my wife's brisket was good, however, I read that the catfish was great! Don't know what you ate, but mine was resembling burnt toast, not edible, I mentioned it to the waitress and she said, some people like it that way, wow, So unless you want burnt toast, avoid the catfish!

We had the brisket, pulled pork sandwich, with beans and coleslaw. The brisket wasn’t sliced or pulled, it was like a rough chunk. The pulled pork didn’t have much flavor and a lot of it wasn’t pulled (there were big chunks). The beans and coleslaw were okay. The sweet sauce was really runny, not much flavor. The hot sauce had a nice kick and flavor. The hoecake was good. Definitely wouldn’t go back. There are too many good BBQ places nearby.

I would not recommend to families. The service was not great at all rather rude. We went Sunday for lunch and really wish we would have chosen something different. We don’t usually leave bad reviews but the wait staff here was not nice and was rather rude. The food was okay the ribs were charred no meat to eat. Kids liked the Mac and cheese and pulled pork. I enjoyed the pulled pork tacos. I give low stars because of service.

My brisket came out cold it's like they had it pre-made never even put it in a microwave to warm it up The service was professional I didn't care to explain that the brisket was cold. The okra add macaroni and cheese was warm I was just hungry and I ate it but I spent $23 on the meal plus 15% tip

New to area and went for lunch, all the food was amazing. We had the pulled pork plate, smoked turkey and half slab of ribs and it was all delicious! The sides were also delicious. Great cold slaw and mashed potatoes. We will definitely be back!
