Service was great! No complaints about anything.
Should have known something was off when we walked in and it was empty at 6pm. Just the worst slop I've had since moving here.
Just dropped by and was surprised by the cleanliness, food quality and
Some of the best brisket I've ever had absolutely a must stop and visit barbecue
Is no atmosphere, 'atmosphere'? Good old 'country' bar b q. I love the sauce, the pinto beans, smoked bologna (not 'super' smoked') and turnip greens. Friends said brisket was good - service was slow but no one was in a hurry. Good place.
Recommended dishes: Texas Toast
BEST beef brisket I've had in YEARS! Very good side dishes, too. Quick service, reasonable prices & YOU get to choose which sauce & how much you want. I intend to become a regular customer.Kid-friendliness: Lots of seating options for families. Menu options for kids, too.Parking: Quite a bit of close parking plus some street parking, too.
Recommended dishes: Coleslaw
I got the brisket plate with the green beans and roasted potatoes. The food was excellent, and unlike some other places that give a tiny portion of brisket, they gave a nice, hefty amount of brisket. Both the sides were also excellent. The only negative was the price tag, but you absolutely get what you pay for.
Top tier bbq, amazing sides. Brisket doesn't need sause. Check out the cornbread that's looks like pancakes.
Recommended dishes: Broccoli Casserole
My wife and I had a beef brisket sandwich, bbq beans and fries today. The sandwich had no flavor but a lot of fat on both. Beans tasted like they came from a store can. Fries weren't bad. Server never came back to see if we needed refill on drinks. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Food was excellent!! Service was friendly but not very attentive. Great setup of the restaurant
Cool little restaurant that dishes out some good BBQ. To us, BBQ places are a lot about how well the meat tastes but also how good the sides are. Here, the meat was amazing, the sausage had a bit of a kick, pulled pork was moist and tasty and the brisket was on point. Now for the sides, mac and cheeses tasted blah, not much flavor, potato salad did not taste homemade and the fries were good but not amazing.
Brisket was very fatty. Green beans & roasted potatoes inedible Catfish was good. Root beer was good Barbecue beans were okay Macaroni not fresh Pulled pork was okay
So , I talked my Boyfriend into trying New Moon … we pre ordered the Jboy for Easter. And although the BBQ taste as awesome as always , the portion for 30 plus $ was ridiculous ! We didn’t have enough to feed our few people for Easter Dinner. Sorry guys but you’ve lost my business. Yall use to be amazing
Used to eat at blue moon once or twice a month and loved it. First time back since new owner and name change to new moon. Stopped in to grab a quick lunch for wife and kids. Service was good, ordered 1lb of brisket and 1lb of sausage. The sausage was good but unfortunately the brisket was just garbage. I like a fatty piece of brisket but this was pretty much mush. I'm pretty sure it was baked in the oven and never touched a smoker. There was literally no smoke flavor on the brisket. This what I had been told and the reason I had not gone in awhile. Considering that blue moon was kinda famous for their brisket , it's sad to the new owners Serve one of the worst brisket I've ever had. I've never thrown away brisket in my entire life till today.
