Take down your "best pizza in town sign" immediately. Definitely false. Staff only somewhat acknowledges us even merely got existing, and the pizza was cold and overly expensive.
I had been wanting to try this place for awhile and happened to be passing through and decided to stop in. The ambiance reminded me of an old Pizza Hut inside, which is fine. I expected a decent pizza. What I got was not that. The cheese breadsticks that I ordered looked absolutely disgusting and are currently sitting in their container uneaten and will go in the trash. The thin crust pizza itself tasted like it was from a premade, frozen dough. Very disappointing.

Sweet merciful crap this was bad. The ingredients and quality merit paying maybe half what this costs, as the overall quality is possibly about what you’d expect from a public school cafeteria. The pizza crust was basically what they use for lunchables, as in it was a cracker. The sauce was very canned, mostly tomato paste, and only bitter in flavor (no sweetness or spice). The cheesesticks were somehow disappointingly cheap in quality too, and that’s just bread with cheese on it. When I eat pizza this bad, I ask what I did to deserve this. Sadly, the universe will provide no answers. Only pain in the form of acid reflux. I believe this pizza has successfully been enjoyed by people for 50 years the same way I believe the Loch Ness monster is currently at a Six Flags with King and Donkey Kong, as in it’s possible but insanely unlikely.

The moment you walk into the restaurant, it smells so good! Yummy vegetarian pizza! The thin & crispy crust had a nice texture to it. I would like to try the hand tossed option next time.

Pizza rated only a 4 because the dough was not hand tossed; more like machine pre formed and so lacked the taste and consistency of hand made crust/dough.

Tried them out on a Friday night around 6pm wasn’t very busy but steady.
Young girl at the cash register was very nice and helpful. She recommended use getting the bacon cheesy bread with jalapeños “excellent decision”
I also ordered the house special pizza. I ordered a small with me being the only one eating it. I was not a very big fan of the crust may have just been the thin crust. But the veggies and meat on the pizza made up for the crust it stacked full plenty in every bite. Definitely worth checking into. It is family owned in my mind that makes it worth the stop.

I came into David’s pizza & restaurant with my friends while going on a trip, but I live in Gallatin TN. Danielle took our orders and served our food and was great!
I had the chicken bacon ranch pizza on the hand tossed crust and liked it!

Literally was at my breaking point today. Ac was acting up in my car and I had drove from Cookeville to Vanderbilt and I had been in town all day and hadn’t eaten anything. When I strolled in i had been drenched by sweat and then drenched by the little rainstorm that blew through and my nerves were shot, add to the fact I’m still recovering from a major surgery. I was a nervous wreck and just wanted food. The waitress was amazing and the pizza was heavenly. It woke me up and instantly improved my mood. Every ingredient tasted fresh and delicious. The waitress talked to me for a while which really helped get me out of my funk. I left happy and felt like a new person ready to make the drive back to Cookeville. Thank you to the staff for not minding my disheveled appearance and being amazing. First time here and I will be back!
