The food was pre made from a can. Cold and the eggs were pre made. I didn’t know it was buffet style. I do not recommend the place. Coffee is help yourself.

We stayed at Twig City Farm (also owned by the same people, just 3 miles away from Starstruck where this restaurant is located- HIGHLY recommend staying at Twig City, btw!) and got to enjoy free breakfast here. So, so glad we took the opportunity as the breakfast buffet was wonderful! And the omelet station was a scrumptious bonus! Next time we visit we plan on dining here for lunch as everything sounds amazing, and you cannot beat the prices! Come early or leave some extra time once you're finished dining as touring the property is WELL worth it and something you don't want to miss! It's so cool how Jay has turned Reba's old horse farm into such a unique place! Who knew you could have a wedding venue, restaurant, glamping, regular/RV camping spots, live music stage, AND horse stalls turned into AirBnBs all in one place?! Such a cool property!

The atmosphere was nice and the service was nice however, the food was TERRIBLE. Their broccoli casserole was good. The Mac and cheese was awful, no flavor to it, noodles were not done, the chicken seemed to just be heated up and soggy. Lunch menu was very selective. They had pulled pork but couldn’t get a sandwich just the meat because they don’t have sandwiches on weekends. The chicken nuggets I’d hardly call them nuggets they were ok but bland. Their fries were good. We were overall very disappointed in the food here and it’s far fetch to consider it “ country cooking” especially after reading such great reviews.

The fish wasn't cooked all the way, the white beans were hard no taste, the hush puppies were hard as a rock paid for all you can eat and left because couldn't eat it, won't go back cause the food wasn't good and it used to be great and paid 76 dollars and 78 cents for our meal

The staff were all so friendly!!! It's like dining at home with friendly faces! Food was exceptional! Homemade biscuits and corn bread... YUMMY! This is our new eating place after we get off the boat and then some! It was a treasure find!

Update- We went back today for lunch and it was awesome! The place was much cooler inside and the AC will be fixed today when parts arrive. They are working so hard to keep it cool and had portable AC units and fans everywhere. The food was great!
Exceptional lunch! Today we tried Jay Bobs for lunch for the first time and we were both so pleased. We asked the server for her recommendations and she did a fabulous job! We both job the Pork sandwich with French fries and it was delicious. This is a wonderful place to eat and we are very happy that we found it! Great news- the AC should be fixed today but it was nice and cool inside with the portable AC units and the fans. They are working so hard to make it cool and today it was!
Awesome food & service. Hot inside until they get the AC fixed properly. Even though it was hot it was a great experience and we will be back!

I live right down the road, but have never tried it out until this Saturday. My husband and I bought several different groupons for Jay Bobs and wanted a sandwich for lunch on Saturday. We walked in and had the nicest server Michael. He kindly told us the groupon we bought for the sandwich was only valid Monday-Friday and he tried so hard to make it work out for us. We were offered several different options but it was more than we wanted at the time. In the end, since we just wanted a sandwich we left, but the way it was handled so wonderful that we were not mad at all and decided we really wanted to try out it again.
The same Saturday night, we returned to use the groupon we bought for Friday or Saturday night dinner. Turns out we had Michaels mother and she was also absolutely fabulous. Her recommendations were spot on!
WE loved the Catfish and my husband said it was the best meatloaf ever.
The sweet tea was perfect and we can't wait to come back.
The place is currently hot inside until they get the AC back up and running after the storm. They are working on it and doing there best but it's hot inside currently.
BUT the food is so good, it's still worth it. Can't wait to come back.

I’m very disappointed in the service we received, was sat almost 40 minutes before we received our food. It was extremely hot inside and the poor waitresses were about to melt. This business has a potential to do very , but without proper HVAC and quicker service it’s not going to last very long. No one wants to spend 50 dollars on a meal to burn up waiting on their food. Just one opinion but I hope some changes are made! Thanks

The chicken was desert dry and lukewarm, mac and cheese was about the same, turnips were ok, the casserole was good but lukewarm. A salad was included but one must ask for it. A drink is included. You can do better for $15.
