Pretty neat place to come for a laid back country style breakfast. The people working there were very nice and helpful and the food was really good. We have two young children and everything worked out great for us and we all left happy.

they WERE a great family restaurant with good country fixings on the buffet. Now they no longer have the buffet which is what separated them from all the other restaurants. Now they are just average.

Oh my goodness…we have found our new Saturday morning breakfast spot! Only regret is have not tried them until now. All you can eat breakfast Buffett. Everything was SO delicious, hot and fresh. Immediately had a seat. Was a little bit less than when we pay at Cracker Barrel and again, it’s buffet. I know where we will be every Saturday morning! If you haven’t tried them yet you HAVE to! Staff was so nice, felt like we’d been there a hundred times. What a welcome option to the ordinary choices for breakfast in Gallatin!

We ate here after staying in one of the A-Frame cabins. It was a good free breakfast buffet. Classic southern breakfast food. I don't know if I'd visit again but if I stayed on the property again I'd definitely eat free breakfast after a cozy night in a cabin again.

We ate there yesterday for Sunday Lunch for the first time & we won't be back. Arrived around 11:30 AM. There were 2 other tables that had guests dining. We ordered the family style dining. We ordered fried chicken as one of the meats. She said it would be a few minutes. We said ok. Within 5 minutes she brought out small pieces for the 4 of us to enjoy. It was very good. She said she would be back soon with more. When we left close to 1:00 PM the chicken still wasn't ready. What a disappointment. We also ordered chicken & dumplings which were the worst I had ever tasted. It was like they were reheated & over done, very dry. The catfish was over cooked as well. The Cole slaw was not fit to eat. The waitress did apologize but did nothing else. The mashed potatoes & Baked Beans were good. She only came back once to see if we needed anything else. Dessert was the best! The whole meal was very over priced for what we received. I don't see this restaurant lasting very long.

My husband and I ate dinner tonight at Jay Bob's and we left happy and fulfilled, not just by the food but also the service. The staff were kind and welcoming and the food was authentic and flavorful. The best southern food we've had in a while, and we're from Georgia! Not a bite was left on our plate and our dessert bowls were scraped clean. Jay Bob's is great quality for a great price and overall made for a great experience! We felt right at home in this cozy country kitchen and will definitely be back!

My wife and I had some family members in from out of state. We decided to try Jay Bobs and were very happy with the experience. The food in the service was excellent. We had no issues getting seats as we did make reservations. I would highly suggest giving it a try.

Carrie was our server. She also made the delicious homemade rolls that morning. We were first-timers and she was extremely helpful with pro tips in ordering food for our family of 8. There were numerous other staff members who greeted and made us feel welcome. They are open on holidays too, which is good to know. We will definitely be back!
