We stopped in today to grab a couple of slices of The caramel tres leches cake and it was incredible. Gentleman at the counter was very nice.

We tried the chicken, pork, and queso pupusas. They were delicious. The pickled vegetables and sauces which came with them were also quite good. Looking forward to trying more of their menu. Would definitely recommend 👍

We went to La Canasta and purchased a sprinkle cookie, empanadas, papusas, and sweet tamales. All the food was cooked fresh and tasted fantastic. My favorite was the empanadas. We will come back later and try more stuff from the bakery part. Very clean restaurant and nice workers.

I visited La Canasta Bakery & Restaurant and man was I in for a surprise. Right by the door is a pile of FRESH baked bread, soft and fresh, various types of bakery goodies. This place is the real deal folks. I didn't realize they were a restaurant, but I assure you I'll be going back to try their foods and buying more of their bakery goods. I might add that their bakery goods are priced extremely reasonable. Check them out, you won't be disappointed if you're looking for authentic family style

They have the BEST tres leches!! It is the only place I have found in Middle Tennessee that has anything this good!!

I order the fish, empanadas, Texas burger, churros, and fries. All gross, everything over cooked, unseasoned, some things were chewy and hard to eat. They also couldn’t provide us with a receipt and only took cash, which makes me think non of what they are doing is reported to the IRS. They just take your cash and they pay no taxes. The only thing that was decent there was the churros but that obvious, due to it being covered in brown sugar. Don’t recommend nor go back there.
