I went to Mar y Tierra Taqueria with my kids for lunch, the people working there were very friendly, the place look clean and well maintained. They had so many options to choose from. We ordered the Mar y Tierra Burger, Al Pastor Torta and a Cheese Burger with fries. Everything tasted it very good. Specially the Mar y Tierra Burger it had a beef patty, grilled shrimp, grilled onions and avocado. It tasted really good. It was big enough that my teenager couldn't finish it and I gladly helped. Unfortunately we didn't have space left for dessert. But we'll try next time we are in Lebanon, TN.

Fresh made tortillas and great fillings. The best tacos I've had in a long time. I'm going to fast for a few days before I return so I can have one of everything.

If you haven't been here before, do yourself a favor and go give it a try, as a west coast kid who misses home, this place is as close as it gets to what I remember as a kid in SoCal. They dont have an extravagant menu like the other spots in town, but what they do have they do extremely well and I promise you wont be disappointed.

Food was expensive and had an off putting taste (mix of oil and a burnt taste) For 3 small tacos, a chicken quesodilla and milanesa de pollo (skinny fried chicken fillets) it was $60. There's a reason they don't have prices on the menu. I've tried the place twice and after eating I was disappointed both times so I will not return. I recommend La tienda hispana or Oaxaca Supermarket, both have a place to eat in the back of the store and serve better food for cheaper. Speedy Burrito is also very good (my favorite) for the price and amount of food you get and they cook the food in an open kitchen so you can see how your food is prepared.

Absolutely amazing!! Kind employees, reasonable prices, in house tortillas and delicious well-made authentic food. Will 100% come back when I visit Nashville again

We drive down from Bowling Green Kentucky about one to two times every two months. The prices are very good for being in the United States. I say this after living in Mexico for 12 years and I know the prices of Tacos there. The cost is MUCH higher here in the States for the food that the restaurants must use. Even so this place is FAR cheaper than the $5 per toco that is sold in Bowling Green and tastes much better. My family and I are headed down today for lunch! See you there!

Parking: The Quesabirria are so good, very large, they are my favorite! My son loves the Tamales and the rest of the food is equally good! If you love authentic Mexican food you need to eat here.

Kid-friendliness: They love children here.

The staff is extremely racist. I went in to retrieve a pickup order for someone and was very kind to these people for them the rudely try to dismiss me, treat me like I was going to steal my patron’s food and refused to supply me the customer’s receipt so that they can ensure their order was completed accurately and then ignored me out right. If you are black I would absolutely avoid this place, and it’s horrible when not black people open businesses in historically black neighborhoods or patron our neighborhood and treat us like we are scum and thrives when we treat you all with kindness. Disgraceful!!!!

We just happened to be in the area and found this restaurant. What a gem! Authentic papusas, amazing quesabarria, delicious tacos, and even the elote was so tasty! We always get horchata when we get Mexican, and this one did not disappoint! Even the kids chicken nuggets/fries were good! We paid about $40 for all we got. We’re from Chicago and this is some of the best authentic Mexican food we’ve had!
The service was so quick and friendly. We dined in and I was shocked we were one of only three tables there during prime weekend lunchtime. If we didn’t live 45 min away, this would be our go-to spot. Heck, it still may be! Don’t hesitate to try this place out.

I have to say that the service was good the restaurant was clean but with that being said it was WAY overpriced. We were charged $41 for a burrito ( no rice or beans ) and a bowl of menuedo
an horchata and a small can of beer. The food was ok but beans in the burrito (I had a bean burrito no meat ) tasted a bit scorched. I don’t believe we will return
