The 5 Stars are for James, the bartender. We only come when James works because he makes you feel welcome and makes the bar lively and engaging with his wonderful and funny personality, like one expects a bartender to have: The bar is unique and has a cool history. The beer is ice cold and the drinks are good. The food is inconsistent, so take your chance there. The salad bar is good. Free popcorn in the bar is nice too.

Sammy B's has excellent food. We started with the Steak and Herb Cheddar Biscuits, highly recommend. The Smoke Fried Chicken was also Amazing. Our server Tina provided excellent service. Will be back.

We celebrated my Father's 80th birthday this past weekend with brunch at Sammy B's. The entire wait staff was kind and our family had an excellent meal. The event couldn't have gone better. Thank you Sammy B's!

Came to eat with 6 ball players. Took over an hour to get drinks and order. Got good 15 minutes before having to be back at field at Lebanon HS. They some were the wrong order. Would not recommend this place. Service was definitely awful. Only one other table with 2 people there and still took them over an hour to provide our food. Stay away.

Best restaurant in Lebanon! Forget the restaurants on the square. Sammy B’s tops them all!
We had the pork and a patty melt with sweet potato fries and mac and cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious! And the salad bar… oh my goodness. That was so good with so many good options!
10/10 would recommend!

Sammie B's in Lebanon used to be our favorite after-Christmas restaurant while in town visiting family. We ordered 2 fillets and neither one of us could finish them because honestly we got tired of chewing. Steak had a good flavor but it was nowhere near filet tender—it was not expecting prime but this was not typical. Server blamed the quality of meat from the supplier PFG who actually had a refrigerated truck on site. Three Stars because the salad is always fresh and unfortunately was the best part of the meal.

We ordered two shrimp and chip dinners at $19 each for carryout. When my husband brought the dinners home I was shocked to find only 6 shrimp in each box. When we have ordered this in the past, as recently as 60 days ago, there were 8-10 shrimp.
If the quantity or price changed that should have been noted when the order was placed. If it had been detailed, we would have ordered another meal as two people were splitting one of the dinners.
I fully realize restaurants are under extreme financial pressure to cut costs. But when you don't offer value for the price, the likelihood of the customer returning is slim to none.
I have not been a huge fan of Sammy B's since they cut their menu to the bone. Seems Aubrey's, new to town with generous portions and loads of traffic, is putting the hurt on Sammy B's.

Grace, the bartender was amazing. excellent service and food. the environment rocks as well. I cannot wait to take my wife back and enjoy a good dinner.

Visited Sammy B's for the first time with my wife for our 36th Wedding anniversary. We both had the smoked prime rib, baked potato and salad bar. This is a very cool venue. It is in a residence of the old military school.
