Tonight tried this food truck in the Eastridge parking lot close to where Sears used to be. Everything we've had was amazing!! We've tried the carne asada quesadilla, carne asada burrito and carne asada tacos. The meat was so tender, fresh and delicious and the salsas were on point! But, what really makes the tacos are the grilled onions they put on them. Yummy. This is now our new favorite taco spot!! Can't wait to try the other meats and foods.

I ordered over doordash and got 3 marinated pork tacos, a lengua super burrito and a carne asada quesadilla. Holy s**** guys, this is the best Mexican food I have ever had and I see very little reason to get food from anywhere else. My burrito was above and beyond bomb, the quesadilla was crazy delicious and my boyfriend loved his tacos. He said he could actually have more than three next time and he usually doesn't eat a lot of food at one sitting. He was proposing we have a second dinner that night to buy more. The food is greasier than expected, but it wasn't too bad and it didn't make me feel sick after. Also, everything in my burrito was so fresh. Just delicious. I'm psyched this place is open so late because I definitely see myself doing late night orders. I'm about to go have the leftover quesadilla for lunch and I'm very excited about it. Do yourself a favor and try them out.

Never tried Tacos El Pelon, and I wanted to try a new place for burritos. Saw all the great reviews so I placed an order for delivery. I chose the cabeza supreme burrito with no beans. After unwrapping half the burrito, I saw the outside of it was very greasy. I figured maybe they had it sitting on the grill top just a tad too long. That's ok. I think I started on the wrong half of the burrito because the first inch or two was rice only. Halfway through, you can see there's a pretty generous amount of meat, but barely any avocado peaking through. The bottom part of the burrito had all the cilantro, onions, sour cream, and avocado. Writing this, I just remembered that it should have had cheese, but I don't recall seeing any. The taste of everything was decent but I did wish that the burrito was better constructed and that all those other elements weren't stuck at the bottom. The whole burrito was very oily. Oil kept dripping down my hand and fingers and I had a large pile of greasy napkins when I finished. I would give the taste and experience a 3/5 because of how much meat they put. However, I got sick that night and had nothing else out of the ordinary earlier that day. I have to take another star off for all the grease. Given all the good reviews, maybe I caught them on a bad day :/

4 tacos: cabeza, lengua, pastor, y asada! I also got a asada burrito. The food is really good. I love the different sauces the owner, Antonio, gave me with my order. Their red salsa and pineapple salsa are spicy and delicious, also their avocado salsa is amazing if you like avocado. What's important to me was I observed that we changes gloves after handling money. He then cleaned and put on a new pair of gloves. I love how this establishment that good hygiene especially during the pandemic. Antonio is also very friendly and accommodating. I would come back here for the food!! I recommend it.

I think I've found my new favorite taco truck!! Ordered doordash from here recently and everything was packaged super well. I ended up eating it an hour later and it was still SO good reheated. I got an al pastor quesadilla and 3 tacos: asada, pastor, and lengua. The al pastor was my favorite for sure, it was super flavorful. The lengua was also great, the texture was just right. I really liked how they included everything: lime, grilled onions, onion & cilantro, and even radishes. They have this spicy and sweet salsa that was amazing and really went well with the tacos. Love that they also accept card. I will definitely be back(probably soon tbh lol) :-)

Taco truck in the Eastridge parking lot. I got a taco plate which comes with 3 tacos with rice and beans. The meat in the tacos were a little too salty to enjoy. It's to bad because the rice, beans and salsa were all good! The owner seemed very nice and kept the seating area clean. I might of just came on a bad day where they over seasoned the meat. I definitely would give this place another try in the future and update my review.

The tacos were all so good. I liked the lengua because it's tasteful and tender. All their tacos were so good. I am not a taco lover but when I tried it, I keep telling my daughter let's go and get some. And their salsa is so good too. So I recommend this Taco truck .

I bought 8 asada tacos, total was $24. Paid $4 out of pocket after using the $15 for $20 deal. Portions were so generous, usually other taco places are skimpy on the meat but every single one of my tacos from Taco El Pelon were overflowing with meat! I now have food coma. The asada was juicy and well cooked, it wasn't dry at all. Definitely will be coming back! For anyone wondering where the truck is located, it's behind Michaels and in the big Sears parking lot.
