Ordered a seafood “boil” snapped this picture immediately when I opened it… notice the photo is not blurry because there was no steam the food was all cold.
Got the “shack” sauce, and it was so thick the texture really threw me off. It kind of reminded me of thousand island dressing with a small amount of spice at the end.
All in all the food was cooked properly, the textures were all good, but the sauce was absolutely disgusting paired with it all being cold I couldn’t even eat the meal I spent over $50 on :(

This place was fantastic! A nice "hole in the wall" feel. The sauce in the bottom of the pan was the winner. It's so good to dip the meat you crack out in that sauce. The crab cake was also better than I expected. Typically not a big fan of breaded crab cakes, but it wasn't greasy or shredded crab. It was nice crab chunks with their "shack sauce" which was a nice creamy Cajun sauce.

We ordered food for the first time from the crab shack last night and was extremely surprised at how amazing the food was. The catfish was spot on and the shrimp took us back to the beach. We can’t wait to go back and try more things on the menu. Also, the staff was extremely inviting when I walked in to pick up our order.

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place, to the point where we are becoming regulars. Their crab legs are always delicious and we are always greeted with a smile and treated like friends. We will continue to go back as often as we can. They also have the best catfish we’ve tasted in middle Tennessee!
